US$20 Food and Beverage Voucher When Flying on a Virgin Australia Service between Australia and Doha @ Velocity Frequent Flyer

140

Virgin Australia will offer US$20 F&B vouchers to all Velocity members travelling on the upcoming Virgin Australia flights to Doha (operated in partnership with Qatar Airways). The vouchers can be used at over 60 outlets during the transit in Doha. Passengers can indulge in world-class eateries including Emporio Armani Café, Gordon Ramsay's Street Pizza, Oreo Café, Harrods Tea Room and more.

To be eligible, members (including children) must be travelling on a Virgin Australia service between Australia and Doha (VA1-29) and add their Velocity or Privilege Club membership number to the booking before departure. The US$20 voucher will then be linked to the boarding pass.

A Virgin Australia spokesperson has confirmed that passengers will receive the voucher when flying on the VA-numbered flights in either direction, even if they are continuing on another airline.

One point to note: the vouchers can’t be pooled in a single transaction, so each passenger needs to make a separate purchase. Any charges above US$20 need to be settled separately.

Velocity Frequent Flyer Gold and Platinum members will also enjoy more benefits on the new flights, such as an increased baggage allowance and free seat selection.

Finally, all Velocity members will be able to upgrade on the new flights from Economy Flex, while Gold and Platinum members can request an upgrade from Economy Choice as well.

Great, just booked VA flights through Doha for the whole family. The question is which restaurants are eligible and how long are they open.
