Menulog Overcharged - Not Happy

Hi, yesterday Menulog had 2 for the price of 1 deals.

I realised that they charged full price when I had a look at the receipt.

I contacted Menulog support, and they told me to contact the restaurant.

I told support that I ordered via Menulog, not via the restaurant.

Same answer, we cannot do anything.

    The restaurant had a simple but visible banner which says 2 for the price of one. Cheapest item free.

        Yes. I managed to find a contact us option online.

        I will post an update once I hear back from them.

      2 for 1 on what though? I’ve seen that in uber eats, go to the restaurant and it’s only available on cans of coke or spring rolls.

      Sometimes they also need you to enter a coupon code.

      All tactics to trick people into paying full price.

      What price was shown when you were checking out?

      • Yes for eg doordash shows discounted price before payment. I assume uber too?

    Yeah you gotta watch those deals to make sure they apply. Normally some fine print that you didn't meet.
