Love their coffee, but not at that price. Shipping to Sydney kills the deal for me. Either 50% off with free shipping or 60% off plus shipping would make it competitive against airjo and limeblue.

    • +4

TBF, Their coffee seems a bit better than airjos, not to say airjo is bad.

    • +9

Inglewood is definitely better than airjo and limeblue

      • Limeblue > Inglewood > Airjo

        • Which Limeblue do you recommend?

  • +1

Wish the lazy daze was also on special :(

    • It is. But they don't have stock of 1kg Whole Beans. :(

      • I just got two 500g bags for $40 delivered to Tasmania. Very good price still :D

  • +2

We strive to have all our orders shipped within 48 hours

Notice that they 'strive' to — not promise or guarantee. They almost always take longer than 48hrs during these promotions

    • +6

Find me any online retailer that literally guarantees (with no caveats/T&Cs) shipment within a specified timeframe.

    • They used to be really good at delivering quick. I've too noticed that it's been quite slow, but they're got much more popular.

  • +1

I really enjoyed the enterprise blend for airjo, can anyone recommend a similar blend from Inglewood?

    • +1

Never had Airjo's Enterprise blend , but based on the tasting notes, Inglewood's Roosevelt Blend is the closest

    • We like both the Roosevelt and Downtown blends for making strongish white coffees at home. Plenty of businesses around here seem to default to Roosevelt as their house blend. Both coffees cut through milk well. Nice level of richness.

  • Im finishjng up my airjo colombia blend, but always wanted to try this. Hows the Sunset blvd blend is it good for lattes & capuccinos? Thinking might try it.

    • I've only ever had downtown for about 8 months now. It's my standard go-to beans now haha but always wanted to try sunset blvd too!

      • +1

I was the same as you.
        I bought Sunset, I didn’t like it.
        Stick to downtown!

        • Agree. Didn't like Sunset Blvd.

Downtown is good, it's not as strong body as I'd like though.

          I also like Roosevelt too.

          I'd stick with these 2.

    • Sunset is nice - but I think that Roosevelt and Downtown are the better match for milky coffees.

This is just the 4 week subscibe & save price?

    • discount code is applied at checkout

    • I’m on their subscription, and tried Downtown and Sunset Blv. Got a BDB and Timemore 78S. Always have a milk based coffee. For my taste Downtown is good. I introduced it to few of office staff, they like it as well.

Tried Arjo and Limeblue before, which tend to be bit cheaper with the always happening deals. However, personally Inglewood is better coffee.

In terms of pricing, 1kg/4wks tend to be same price as 50% off. Sometimes, I feel better to buy at sales, which goes 60% and discounted shipping compared to a subscription, well I may consider that.

It takes about a week from order to get delivered to Sydney and $5 shipping.

Would like to try P&R sometime to see the difference. Which would be similar price if I get from a coffee van coming to a close by place.

  • Which bean type would be best for drip please?

    • Reserve List - Colombia, Manos Juntas Micromill - Filter Roast. Great for a pour over, amazing at 50% off. Should be same for drip.

  • Bought 2kg of decaf for 62 and was charged $2 delivery. Not a huge deal but ad says free delivery

    • Free delivery is usually for Melbourne.

But seriously, charging $2 might as well give it free in exchange for happy customers.

      • I'm in Melb and they hit me with a $1 delivery fee.

@stopthecap: Postage and handling $1.00 AUD, to Melbourne

            Inglewood please explain lol

  • Someone explain how these ars better than Aldi in MILK coffees?
I did a blind tasting of lattes with an Airjo, Ingelwood, Aldi with a coffee snob friend, they ranked Aldi number 1…

    • +1

I haven't tried Ingelwood and these things are subjective, but in my experience Airjo beans are much nicer than Aldi beans (in milk coffees). Aldi is ok, and probably as good as gets for supermarket beans, but at least at my local Aldi the freshest beans I can find on the shelf are usually still at least two months old, while the Airjo beans are delivered to me in 1-2 days and are generally 3-4 days old when I get them. And it takes me at least a month to get through a 1kg bag so the Aldi beans are that much older again by the time I get near the end of the bag.

      • Is there a specific Airjo one you recommend trying? I have Aldi Medium Dark so not sure what would be a good replacement

        • I've generally liked the Saratoga blend but I may change it up a bit in the next order

    • They are all good coffee, to say one is the best is subjective.

Personally I very much prefer the Roosevelt Blend. Like they advertised, "Think sticky dates, panela sugar and smooth milk chocolate". That's just what I like.

  • +1

the latest discounted Peruvian single origin from Lime Blue was da bomb and better than anything from Inglewood I have tasted.

    • Are you talking about expresso or may be flat white ? Some coffees tend to cut the milk better than others?

  • Inglewood are good but trying some smaller outlets has opened my eyes. Inglewood decaf not as good as Decaf Co for example.
Also Inglewood never brought back the single origin Brazil coffee that tasted like chocolate milkshake, best coffee I ever tasted, the recent offerings have not come close, even the expensive limited editions. At 50% off you won't find better coffee though.

    • Agreed that the Inglewood decaf isn't that great, much better options out there.

  • Discount applies to reserve list too, thanks!

  • "We offer free shipping Victoria wide and $5 flat-rate shipping Aus-Wide, or free shipping on all orders over $50." plan to order Roosevelt Blend 1kg Wholebean and Downtown 1kg Wholebeans = $62 + $5 delivery to Sydney. didn't it have free delivery?

  • Any recommendations for Espresso settings in Smart Grinder Pro - sunset Blvd beans?

    • +1

      Their guide suggests: 1:1.8 ratio.

21 grams in, 38 grams out, 30 seconds including pre-infusion.

So you would adjust the grind setting to get as close to 30 seconds as practical.

Too coarse will be too quick (sour), too fine will be too long (bitter).

      • Just looking for some references starting points on SGP so I don't have to waste too many beans

        • +1

If no one responds, you can try the half way point. It's unlikely to be that far off becoming undrinkable.

  • Anyone has information when 50% will end?

Want to put in an order just before the long weekend, so it will ship after the long weekend.

    • +1

      4d 10h from this comment.

      • Thank you, will order on Thursday afternoon.

Ordering this week has a high chance getting stuck at some distribution centre for the entire Easter.

        • Add one week. I ordered on 10/4/25, and order hasnt shipped yet (now 17/4/25). Easter Weekend coming with Woolworths beans. My wife is going to give me the look. Urrggghh. FML.

  • Ordered on friday night and nothing till now. Does anyone receive confirmation that the order has been shipped?

    • Likewise. Hoping it'll arrive before the long weekend but I don't think it will.

      • I ordered on 10/4, mine hasnt shipped yet.

        • Mine got posted yesterday. Eta for Wednesday/Thursday. Not happy Jane.
At least it'll be degassed by the time it comes here assuming freshly roasted.

  • Ordered the 1kg bloom seasonal & 500g Roosevelt with $2 shipping to QLD. Finished up with Airjo going to try this instead. I usually go a smooth mellow blend but i heard the bloom is chocolatelt & fruity and i need to try it haha.

  • Opened a bag of Rosevelt this week after ordering it about 3 weeks ago.

It was so boring, it just tasted like coffee flavored milk. I went to Aldi and bought one of their purple bags of 'lux' beans. Way better

    • May or may not be an issue with grind and technique? I had trouble with their 'Bloom' blend and never really got it dialed in. No such trouble with Roosevelt/Downtown/Sunset.

But if you're getting joy out of your Aldi beans - you know what to stick to!

      • +2

Possible, although I was a Barista for about 6 years, been making coffee at home for 15 and I'm using a Sette 270 grinder

I've had Inglewood several times before and it's always been okay for the price (when discounted).Their downtown blend was alright, although I was really disappointed with Bloom. That's what I decided to never try their limited or seasonal releases.

        • Yes, once I got 'Bloom' right, I too was unimpressed. Like your choice of grinder - I've got the VW Beetle (Rancilio Rocky). Unstoppable!

    • IMO Luxe is not worth the premium over regular Lazzio.

Different but don't feel like better.

  • It's Mother's Day 50% now, not complaining but a bit too frequent, might as well tune down the regular price.

    • +1

They dug their grave. It's a great lesson in business and marketing. No one will be buying their beans at full price anymore
