Register with BP Rewards Unlocked for 6¢ Per Litre off BP Fuel @ AGL (Customers Only)

100

Join AGL to save 6c per litre at BP. Available for existing AGL Customers. I have my Gas with AGL only and get this offer.

Residential AGL customers get 6 cents off per litre at bp until 31 Dec 2025. Already with AGL? Activate your offer in My Account or the AGL app and join BP Rewards Unlocked.

Offer Details here.

  • Great fuel savings - Enjoy 6 cents off per litre until 31 Dec 2025.
  • Up to 120 litres of fuel per day - Redeem discounts on up to a maximum of 3 fills per week.
  • Available with E10, 91, 95, Ultimate 98, Diesel and Ultimate Diesel at participating bp sites.

I find this great. I have had a scenario where I have got the 6 cent discount, plus 8 cents off with 2 bottles of Water and then redeemed like $5 of BP Points. So I have gotten a discount overall, plus essentially free bottles of water and saved even more. Plus use my Qantas Points car for the purchase and earn CC points.

On an average fill, I can save around $3 with this offer, plus earn points and get fuel cheaper at a local BP that is about 10 cents cheaper than some other servos.

I did try to find if this had been posted and did not see it as a specific deal.

Join AGL to save 6c per litre at BP

Not if you end up paying more for your utility bills…

    • Yes, that's possible. In my case, they are more for electricity, but for gas, they work out about the same and I can submit my meter reading through their app plus pay monthly with accurate billing. Annoying having to guess and then wait for the meter reader to come around to have some bill shock.

    • i pay less than 8c a kw on charging with my ev at home with AGL costs me $4.80 total to go from 1% to 100% charge. once a week (400 to 420km of travel a week) I have used BP DC chargers once they charge you 20 bucks and then give you no charge at all. BP chargers are a disgrace.

charging with my ev at home with AGL

doesn't help >95% of the population.

        • -2

well if 95% of the population wants to have real savings on fuel switching to an ev with cheap electric is the way to go.

          • @kungfuman: not really much of a saving, if any for many people…

            • @jv: there are also the many locations round queensland that are free charging stations as well. so you can totally get away with free charging for the long temp. and never pay for fuel ever again. so it is possible to pay nothing at all.

              • +1

                @kungfuman:

                free charging stations

                who pays for them?

                • @jv: the shopping centers mostly and most of those places have free parking. with no limit. Unless you live in NSW or VIC where they charge you a fee for packing and also for charging, you never going to get a better deal for charging than in queensland.

                  • @kungfuman:

                    the shopping centers mostly

How do they recoup the cost?

                    • @jv: who knows from people buying shit at the shopping center. Chargers usually mean you stay longer at teh shops and buy more.

                      • @kungfuman:

from people buying shit at the shopping center.

                        the ev drivers?

You can get this same discount for free from carsales

    • Yeah, I saw that too. But I find this part annoying:

Present your BP Rewards barcode through the carsales app at any participating bp site to save 6c per litre on fuel.

I leave my phone in the car. The AGL offer is automatically linked to my BP Rewards card and no need for my phone. But thats just me……

      • +1

If your phone is in the car how do you pay?

I will not accept tap my watch as an answer.

        • Physical card.

@geekcohen: Nice. Old school. You just don't see that very much these days.

    • Can we still collect Qantas points when using this discount?

      • +1

Via CC, yes. Via BP Rewards, yes. I have my BP Rewards set to collect BP Points and use my CC for Qantas Points.

      ^ this

AGL too expensive and marked me around with $100 gift card untill I complained

  • The nearest BP servo to me is always 10¢ per litre more than everything else.

    • +1

      Time to move then…

      • Nah, all the other servos have reasonable prices.

        • BP near e is consistely cheaper than the others. Double win for me.

  • Thanks OP.

  • Can I just confirm that it’s all BP stations @geekcohen? I activated, and the email I received says find a participating BP Rewards Unlocked site which there’s none in SA

    • According to JV it's

      Time to move then…

    • +2

I thought the same thing when I first used the Carsales 6c per litre off offer. The BP website is very hard to navigate and very ambiguous so I had to email them to find out where I could use this deal. Basically any BP servo that advertises BP Rewards. I generally go to X-Convenience as they're cheap anyway.

Not at all. I know there is one in Trafalgar (VIC) that doesn't do it. My local Warragul and the one in Moe does. But in saying that, I have only ever had the one not work for it. Pretty much all other BPs I have been too have worked.
