    Lego is so darn expensive

    • +2

      It’s an investment sir

Best to get in quickly. Hearing Trump is considering a 190% tariff on Mordor starting next week

    • Dont forget the 10% on the Lyendell Royal Capital

      • I hear he's mates with the Dung Eater, loves the guys attitude and work ethic

  • +2

Please note that this is one hemisphere of the tower. If you want a complete model you'll have to buy 2 and save $290!

  • Not disputing the deal but does anyone else sort've just not like this one? Rivendell for eg was so beautiful.

    • +5

You realize these guys are the bad guys right? Since when have bad guys been beautiful?

Not quite what I was driving at but yes acknowledge it's a bunch of black Lego and what can ya do.

    • Having seen both in person, I think this one is better as a shelf display piece (if you can find the space). It looks really impressive.

Riven-dell is also amazing, but i don't think it's quite as striking for display.

But I know most people prefer Rivendell.

  • I regret not picking up Orthanc.

    • I know what you mean! It still pains me to this day! I was only buying sub $100 sets when that came out. Couldn't justify spending that much at the time! Now i've lost control! Lol.

  • I guess they'll get around to Minas Tirith one day, with 20,000 parts, for $3000.

  • +1

Normal lego is painful enough to step on, this one is made entirely of spikes.

  • 20% off only, I've found lego is getting much less discounts than before in australia on these big sets
whereas international is getting like 40~50%off

  • I'm a little surprised this is sold outside of lego store, thought it might be exclusive.
Good news though, discounts are always welcome!
