    Having seen both in person, I think this one is better as a shelf display piece (if you can find the space). It looks really impressive.

    Riven-dell is also amazing, but i don't think it's quite as striking for display.

    But I know most people prefer Rivendell.

    I know what you mean! It still pains me to this day! I was only buying sub $100 sets when that came out. Couldn't justify spending that much at the time! Now i've lost control! Lol.

  20% off only, I've found lego is getting much less discounts than before in australia on these big sets
  whereas international is getting like 40~50%off
