Got it for $8 at my local. Which imo is an absolute steal. Will post specs shortly.

      Where is your local?

  • Looks like a powerboard with an IEC plug on the end.

I did that with an older powerboard by chopping off the plug and putting an IEC connector on the end as part of my travel kit.

    • I once modded my printer with an IEC C14 receptacle so I can plug it to a UPS. It's indeed a clever design.

Ok so here's the reason I jumped on it. It has an IEC plug which is fantastic for home server setups. But more importantly, it's a PD45W charger, and the carry case is actually half decent to lug around cables in. 2x usb-a and 2x usb-c is very nice as often a lot of boards opt for only one type, or only one of each.

The whole travel aspect (changeable heads) isn't important to me, but perhaps useful to others.

  • Is the US/Japan adapter just the 3rd prong? (Japan power doesn’t have the 3rd which is no good for upcoming trip)

    • Some Japanese wall outlet has US-style ground pin so you can use the US adapter instead. Otherwise you may be able to find two prong US/Japanese/Chinese to IEC C13 cable or plug to use on other Japanese outlets.

  • Reviews not good for the similar looking Arlec brand.

  • Perfect stuff to around with

    something like this

from aliexpress, adaptors are cheap already IMO for $15 alone. add a standard IEC C13 to C14 cable for like $5-$10 ish from various places + $5-$20 ish international powerboard and its amazing

Not every bunnings have this price.

  • @Yekul, Which store is that? Mine is selling it for $25.

    • Taree but they’re sold out now.

Other notable bargains I watched closely for a while were 40c hdmi cables (2m), $5 click surge protected desk mounted power/usb boards, $5 remote controlled (RF) power outlet sets (actually great to find a ‘dumb’ device which doesn’t auto overload for shed appliances which briefly spike above 10Amps).

Heaps of good bargains lately, sold out at my local now. They say for ages and ages then bam big price drops to clear them.

  • I tried theee today

    2 had them at $25
    1 out of stock

  • Mine selling for $25.

  • $25 at Adelaide Airport just called - was told can pricematch another Bunnings store but Online Stock checker not working and cant see it on regular Bunnings website Shame

    • Can anyone share a $8 receipt?

      • Was anyone able to share the $8 receipt? Just about to pick one up

    • Did you try Woodville by any chance?

The stock check link in the original post isn't working for me, item appears to be gone from the Bunnings website too.

  • Try this store checker - https://nrby.in/bunnings/0617429

I saw these in my local bunnings (Warragul) for $10.

  • Tried to price match but the person didn't agree. Was looking to get it for the 45 pd

  • Castle Hill $18

  • Have just gone to two shops that say it's in stock but unable to find them in store.

My local store had them on the cage in the middle in the middle section and then a day or so later, at the front of the store.

  • Kingsgrove $15.

  • $25 in bibra lake wa

  • Bunnings blacktown still have some with no price attached. I asked the staff for the price, he asked me back how much I'm willing to pay. I said $15 so he gave me for $15. It was $25 when it scanned then he changed it manually.

    • How many are left at Blacktown? And where did you find them? Might head in early tomorrow.

Not sure, it was mixed with other clearance items in a cage. I saw there were at least 3. Its near electrical aisle.

        • Thanks for the info. I found the cage in front of the lighting section. There was still at least 1 full box of them left, but they were marked as being $25 and rang up at checkout as $25. Didn't feel like arguing with the cashier.

  • Bought for full price before I went overseas in January

got 2 today at Kotara - 12.50 each. Careful though as in the actual power point aisle there was what appeared a new version of this and it was $45. Couldn't find this one until I asked an assistant to check the catalogue number 0617429 which OP had. Sure enough they come up in some random other aisle.

  • $45 at Joondalup W.A 🙄🤦🏼‍♂️

    • I believe this is the new version.
Bought both yesterday and the latest version comes with a shorter cable 0.9m, 30W max for USB, and now soft carry case. Found the old style one at Melville to be located far from the electrical section and just in the middle aisle

      • How much @ Melville?

        • +1

They marked it down as clearance for me to $15 so i bought 2
