Back in 1997 Riven was one of the best selling visually immersive puzzle solving games released. In 2024 the game was remade with Unreal Engine with breathtaking graphics and one of the best looking VR games available. You'll need a decent gaming PC to run this in 4K with Epic graphics. This gameplay was recorded on an i5-14600K with RX 7800 XT.

Can't believe I purchased this full price yesterday and they dropped the price today. A must get at only $30. Great for gamers who want to exercise their mind in a visually engaging environment.

    I purchased on Steam. When you press play you'll get the option to launch Riven in VR in OpenXR Mode. Ran it on an Oculus Quest 2 nicely.

        Just finished the game and can almost guarantee you'll need the walkthrough. The totem animals and fire marble puzzles are insane and not that intuitive. Very frustrating travelling the islands looking for clues. I used the walkthrough for both puzzles. Thankfully the graphics are stunning.

  Back in 1997, I read about Riven in a magazine. By the time I upgraded my computer and added a CD drive, I had access to Myst 3 exile. After playing Myst 3, Riven started feeling meh. Now that I have quest 2, will probably try this.
