1210

AliExpress 16% Cashback on Affiliated Items Only (see terms, $30 cashback cap per order).

  • Enter product ID or URL on this link to check eligibility.
  • Stack with AliExpress coupon codes from 14th April 5pm AEST to 21st April 4:59pm AEST
  • Cashback stacks with AliExpress coupons, seller coupons and AliExpress coins as long as the products are affiliated.
  • Stack with 2%-10% cashback as AliExpress credit after you join a team. Link to OzBargain team.

What will stop me getting my cashback

  • Cashback eligible on affiliated items only. Enter product ID or URL on this link to check eligibility, then click 'Get Cashback' to complete your order. A $30 cashback cap per transaction applies.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchase of the following items: face masks, medical consumables, gift cards, virtual products, coupons, travel, ebooks, AliExpress Top-up, and any non-affiliated AliExpress products.
  • Confirmation of goods received must be made in your AliExpress account within 90 days of placing your order to be eligible for cashback.
  • A $30 cashback cap applies per AliExpress transaction (unless specified differently during promotions advertised on TopCashback).
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of gift cards for payment and/or purchase of gift cards.

What else is essential

  • AliExpress trades in US dollars meaning the purchase amount and the cashback amount tracked may vary due to conversion rates.
  • Engaging with plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, VPNs, and browsers such as Brave may prevent your order from tracking.
  • You must always return to TopCashback and click the pink cashback button through to the retailer's website for each new transaction. Ensure the TopCashback link is the last one used to visit the retailer's website prior to completing your purchase.
  • Any accounts that engage in fraudulent orders/activities to game/cheat the cashback system will be banned and cashback forfeited.

Good to know

  • AliExpress reports transactions based on item and not combined cart value. If you purchase multiple items in one order, they will report to your TopCashback account as multiple transactions.
  • Most retailers calculate cashback based on purchase amount excluding GST, other taxes, and delivery fees. Your cashback may report lower than expected due to this.
  • If an order is cancelled / returned / exchanged / modified, it will no longer be eligible for cashback and will be declined in your account.
  • To be eligible for cashback, all transactions must be completed solely & wholly online and must not be assisted/negotiated via phone/chat/email. Failure to do so will cause tracking to fail and/or have cashback declined.

will this up sized cashback be valid until tomorrow though, when the coupons come into effect?

    • Yes. Will check with the rep on the expiry date.

16% cashback ends on 20/04/2025 16:59 AEST unless pulled earlier by AliExpress.

    • 5 pm

      • 4:59pm AEST 😀 It may not track at 5pm.

Thanks OP keeping my eye out for reolink deals (NVR, CX820 and RLC820 cams)

Assuming the sweet spot is around $200 AUD per order? And can do multiple orders for multiple cashback

    • Cashback excludes GST. AliExpress reporting of GST may be more than 10% and it depends on the item and discount. It may calculate GST at the original price before any discount. This discrepancy was mentioned in previous offers.

You can do multiple orders for max of $30 cashback each order.

    • If you could share the deals please for others as well.

This will be a dangerous sale for my bank account.

Any good AMD AM5 CPU deals?

Hmm, any suggestions for a replacement of my Amazfit GTS2e? The side button is a bit jammed in and not entirely reliable

  • +1

Hmm 42% (ATH I believe?) for new users @ TCB US. TCB US is usually uncapped too I think. Given that, they also have 10% for existing users.

    • Last month TCB US had 48% (ATH?) for new users. However there were several comments of new user accounts not tracking at the 48% rate.

    • Also wondering if I should make my purchases with TCB AU or TCB US

Aus dollar plunged hard already this this discount gonna make it less painful?

    • Australian dollar is back up to 63 now that Trump has conceded defeat.

      • Defeat? Where?

        • Yet another “pause” this time for 90 days and all the important stuff from China exempted.

Trump is out of his depth and being constantly outplayed. Xi won’t even talk to him and the ‘peasants’ comment from JD has ordinary Chinese citizens up in arms too.

  • Any suggestions on a NAS?

    • I don't really think there are any deals on traditional all-in-one NAS units (The kind that you would purchase retail, like a Synology, Terramaster etc) on Ali.

You can buy a NAS mobo, but then you have to kit it out with drives, memory, appropriate case. Those are all pricy bits that you would want decent quality from, and I wouldn't purchase from AliExpress. And the obvious time/money investment from you setting it all up.

And the obvious warranty headache if you need to return the board lol.

    • Clear has recently posted a couple of ‘upmarket’ NAS on AliExpress, for a few hundred US$ each.

I’ve been looking for a budget low-power NAS for a long time, without finding one that suits me. There’s loads of USB drives marketed as NAS, but if you want actual network storage, the range is limited to some poorly reviewed basic stuff, build-your-own bare cabinets, or fancy and expensive. At present I’m making do with a USB flashdrive plugged into my router, but it’s pretty ordinary (CIFS v1.0, USB 2.0, slow and affects wifi signal reach).

      • Any low power board that accepts large hard drives will be fine for network attached storage.

  • What is the best currency to pay in?

I usually pay in USD because my CC offers better conversion that AE/Paypal and from memory AE sets their prices in USD instead of CNY?

With the tariff war and changes in global currency are we better off selecting a different currency thanUSD?

    • Don't think it makes much difference as long as AUD value is low

    • Change the currency to USD/Euro, then check on xe.com and see which is cheaper.

Typically I find paying in USD is a few dollars cheaper.

    • AliExpress converts the item selling price from USD to whatever currency you nominate, so you lose a conversion cost for any non-USD currency. Your payment provider then converts whatever currency you paid into AUD, so you lose a conversion cost from any non-AUD currency. Ie the cheapest currency for Australians will be either USD or AUD, depending on which of AliExpress or your payment provider charges the least to convert. Using any other currency (xxx) will result in both currency conversions, USD to xxx then xxx to AUD, which is obviously more expensive.

    • currently it's USD, about 3.4% difference for me using revolut

  • Does cashback work on "bundle deals"? I don't know why but aliexpress keeps throwing bundle deals at me that click open in another browser and "channel" in my shopping cart. I haven't purchased bundle deals before so wanting check what the difference is with them.

    • +2

      Yes

      • thanks

        • +3

Cashback is eligible on "bundle deals" and I've purchased in the past. Please check that the items are affiliated for cashback.

To ensure tracking, I found Clear's tips here to be helpful when buying multiple items at the same time.

          • I add multiple items to cart first from different sellers using the AliExpress website on desktop/laptop before using TopCashback.
          • Then I open the TopCashback app, click to AliExpress app, to the cart and pay. (This is different to other retailers about starting with an empty cart.)
          • I use TopCashback app/AliExpress app with Chrome, mobile data and no vpn or antivirus.
  • I have an issue with Cashback on a purchase I made last night. Bought four items from my cart, 3 were choice items and one wasn't. 2 of the choice items and the non choice item tracked fine. Choice item number 3 is missing in TopCashBack though. I checked to confirm it on the affiliate link and it is affiliated so should have been tracked as well.

This is the first time I have ever had an item not track in a multiple item transaction.

I then did another transaction for bundle items and all tracked correctly.

Going to have to leave it 7 days for now before lodging a missing Cashback.

    • Same thing happened to me using SB a few weeks ago, I never chased it up…

        Sorry to hear.

I had a similar experience with a combined order in the 25% cashback offer last month. As the items haven't shipped, I cancelled and reordered with the 19% cashback offer (25% had ended). The same seller with those items didn't track again although this seller had tracked in the past. Cancelled the entire order again and used a different seller for those items. All items tracked. Tracking seems to be an issue with that particular seller.

I had submitted missing cashback claims for AliExpress last year for one order with several items and they were all paid.

        All the best.

        • +1

Thanks for the reply and sharing your experience. It is really appreciated. I wonder if it is seller specific then.

UPDATE Just cancelled the original order and purchased through another seller, waiting to see if it tracks.

  • So you can use any codes and still get cashback? ie stack stock code as well as sale code?

    • +2

Cashback stacks with AliExpress coupons, seller coupons and AliExpress coins as long as the products are affiliated.

Stack with 2%-10% cashback as AliExpress credit after you join a team. Link to OzBargain team.

my order hasn't tracked after 3 hr. should i assume it failed to track?

    • Yes that was my experience in the past. If the order hasn't shipped, you can cancel and reorder.
Please see my comments here and here on tracking tips.

      • My $300 order didn't track but $30 order did, typical

Still available - showing as ends in 20 hours

      Thanks 👍 Updated.

  • ShopBack is 21% up to $50

    • New customers 21% ($50 cap) but existing customers 12.6% ($50 cap).
Most of us would be existing customers.

  • How is purchase price reported back to topcashback? None of the purchase price amounts noted in topcashback match the price on AliExpress.

For example device purchase price 186 excluding tax but TCB only shows 146 as purchase price.

    • +2

Unfortunately AliExpress reports the GST inaccurately, at more than 10%. I mentioned in the post here.

Please see Clear's comments on this discrepancy:

      • Can we do anything to report our actual purchase price to the cashback companies and get the corrected cashback amount? Losing an extra on cashback $15 on a larger priced item saddens me.

        • +1

Unfortunately not. I had asked the cashback site but they couldn't help as the cashback and reported amounts are from AliExpress. AliExpress pays the cashback site who then pays us.

I had chatted with AliExpress over this discrepancy. It seems to be automated incorrectly in their system when there is a discount. Staff (including managers) are unwilling to refund.

This discrepancy in tax amount also affects other countries with a similar tax. There are complaints online outside of Australia.

As Clear mentioned, it may help to report the discrepancy to ATO. The cashback sites won't be able to get the amount adjusted with AliExpress.

  • Made 3 separate purchases in the past week or so, only the bundle deals tracked. Already received the items but the cashback hasn't tracked yet after more than 7 days

    • Sorry to hear. Here are the steps to get your cashback:

      • Please submit missing cashback claims here.

You get an automated email when you lodge the claim that says to wait several months. There is usually no response during the waiting period. TopCashback does not add the tracking manually unlike Cashrewards and ShopBack. TopCashback will contact you if they need more info. You would wait for AliExpress to check the claims and no need to contact anyone at this stage.

      • You can check on the progress of your claims or add further info here.

From TopCashback: Why is it taking so long for you to process?

      • If you have any issues later, here is the link for support. You would expect a response within 48 hours.

I had to submit missing cashback claims for AliExpress on a combined order of 5 items last year. Each item had to be claimed individually (converted to AUD as I paid in USD, minus discount & GST). TopCashback asked for the receipts for each item. Cashback was paid in about 3.5 weeks from the date of claim.

All the best with your claims.

      • Yes already did, a bit annoying though, bundle deals tracked instantly. made another regular purchase after the bundle deal maybe after 5 mins, still hasn't tracked
