The notification came via the El Jannah app and its a code for the app. Prices have gone up since the good old days when I first set foot in the Granville store with the old red logo as a wrap combo would have already been around $14 back then anway and now that's just the cost of the Tawouk roll.

      I love El Jannah, and I kept hearing this sentiment so I finally decided to give Frango a crack and I really don’t get what the hype is about. EJ’s chicken just tastes better, the chips are better (mainly because they’re not shoestring), and the sauce and pickles are just fantastic additions.

      To be fair, it might just be my local. Tried a different EJ’s location and the chicken was a little drier. But the local I’ve had maybe 30 times and haven’t been let down.

      Frango chicken was just the bog standard taste of charcoal chicken like you’d get from Charlie’s. Maybe that’s what most people are looking for?

    Went here once for the grand opening at the Flemington store and was by far the worst chicken I've ever had lol so dry and tiny for a "full" chicken and on top of that they conveniently weren't taking cash so got stung with a $20 surcharge lmao

      Better make your own brother, go straight to Costco and cook your own Chips. $10 all in.

      And Frangos for $40 with L chips, rice and chili sauce.

      or $50 for 2 Chix M chips, chili sauce.

    The most expensive roll in all the Melbourne stores I’ve been to is $14, so unclaimable in many of those locations.

        Had a test run through the checkout process and it seems that you can.

        The wording is definitely a bit vague. Usually it would be something like “minimum spend of $15, including purchase of a roll required to qualify” for that clarity, hence my initial assumption.

    Got this to work last night without purchasing a roll online.

    I bought:
    1 Crispy burger
    1 Crispy chili burger box

    YMMV but give it a crack.
