TLDR: Steelcase makes fancy Supportive chairs & has 20% off
Most chairs including the 'Leap' which has an exceptional reputation has the discount.
I appreciate this is a lot of money for a chair, but my research suggests it's buy it for life (BIFL) status. Also you can repair/replace parts.
$1600 for the Leap ($400 savings).
I've had a Steelcase Think for almost 15 years, and apart from the upholstery needing a good clean it is just like new.
When I first got it, I was a bit concerned about a noise it was making. They sent someone over and replaced part of the base to resolve it, without me even pushing for it, I was really just wondering if the noise was normal. So my experience with their customer service is great.
It's a lot of money for a chair, but unless you're silly with it, they'll last for years and years. Given how many thousands of hours I've sat in mine, I'd say it's easily worth the money I paid for it.
