I upgraded from WUBEN E1 to this H1 Pro for walking my dogs at night, finally free my hands. Slightly cheaper than last deal.
Description thanks to @Clear.

it's the new version of the Wuben H1 with the main differences being that the microUSB port for charging has been ditched in favour for USB-C and it now has a more breathable headband.
Featuring an adjustable P9 LED as the primary light with 1200 lumens, light angle of 100°, 4 basic modes (high/med/low/moon) and 3 flash modes (strobe/sos/beacon). The secondary light can go white or red with 1 flash mode (red flash). There's a 2600mAh removable 18650 battery and the headlamp is IP68 waterproof rated.

  • The sofirn is also on sale for $31 (not an all time low, but seems more popular based on the number of comments on previous deals).

    What's better?

    • +1

I purchased the Sorfin H05B for the Overland Track in Tassie. It was excellent! $25 too. https://amzn.asia/d/9B4hIGf

      • The sofirm headpiece doesn't seem as sturdy as the wuben. the holder also is rubber too.

  • So tempting, I should probably just buy the head strap for me E1 though.

  • I bought a Sofirn S40B from a previous deal and its lack of light focus makes it useless to me. Light is bright, but i need the ability to "zoom out" a little rather than spot light mode on 2cm. Does anyone know if this has that function?

edit: i often do work where im about 50cm-1m away from the work piece such as on a cabinet or on a network cable etc. It becomes really annoying to constantly move my head to shine the light EXACTLY on where i need the light. My LED Lenser head light allowed me to focus or provide a more wide beam depending on what I was doing.

  • Got H1 non-pro in July 2023 and use it regularly for night/pre-dawn sports. Highest setting is crazy bright and lamp body/heatsink gets warm. But mostly keep it on the next step down.

The only annoying thing is the long-press to adjust brightness. Too short and it registers a single click, turns off. Too long and you enable some other stupid mode.

It's easier to use on my handheld Wuben C3 than on this H1 when it's attached to your noggin. Wish they just used a second button to adjust brightness instead of trying to make one button have three dozen functions.

Despite all this, would still highly recommend for the price paid ($36.72).
