OP's posts downgraded from Motorola to 1 buck service station coffee?

You could upgrade yours, by actually posting your first.

Instead of commenting japanese and korean cars are crap on every car related post and telling people euro cars are better.

perhaps you didn’t see OPs last post ‘deal’ on Ninja blenders 😄

Been going for a while. Few places do $1 coffees, one in the city does oat milk coffees for $1 too. Certainly the most widespread for $1.

    • There is a foodary in the CBD?

      • No lol there's another place in the CBD (Sydney) that does $1 oat coffees, and quite a few around the greater region that do $1 coffee

        • Please do share the details of where this CBD place is

@gud2cu: Sorry I can't remember the exact location off the top of my head but it's on a corner block displaying it in big font on the window - could be this but thought it was closer to Martin Place.

United Petroleum Preston South (Vic ) has consistently offered a small coffee for $1, and it has a great taste.

You need to BYO bodyguard though…

    • Majority of United’s are $1 small coffee

    • Wouldn’t even buy a bottle of water from United let alone a coffee.

I’ve had 5-6 of these Ampol coffees, and every time I show the attendant the QR code to scan for the $1 coffee, they can’t scan it, they get frustrated and just tell me to have the coffee for free.

      this is the way

    • Are you sure you are going to a foodary?
Or are you just going to any ol ampol?

      • +1

I can confirm I’m going to Foodarys. One I’ve been to 3 times - free coffee each time. The issue is the QR code is not scannable with the reader.

I got excited until I saw “excludes Barista made coffee”.

    • At $1, even using poor quality beans and milk, they're giving it away. I would say the milk, cup, coffee and any sugar would cost them 90c. Add GST for everything but sugar and you have 99c. Those automated machines cost around $20k not including maintenance. Massive loss leader at $1.

      • Good Coffee is such a subjective and personal preference. People have wildly different minimum standards, if any at all for some. There’s a reason why very few people would ever consider machine coffee at $2 or even $1 as opposed to Barista made. Personally, I avoid machine made coffee at any price because it tastes crap.

So perhaps you’ve missed the point. My comment wasn’t “that’s not a bargain and someone please provide a cost breakdown to justify the deal”. Everyone already understands this is a loss leader for them purely designed to drive foot traffic and patronage for Ampol and Foodary.

  • You need an app to buy a coffee? 🙄🖕

    • Is this a riddle?

      • I think you're after @TheRiddler

  • Have one not far from me so will give it a go at some point! Good to know the deal is right through till July!
