Was looking for a new pair of headphones when a friend sent me the deal, so credit to him for finding it :P
Older model but still by all accounts a great pair of headphones. Unsure if limited time or not, happy Thursday all.

  • Thank you :)

  • reminded me that I have a pair somewhere. good, light, sturdy. On-ear though, so not great comfort if used for a long time for those with a larger noggin. Also mic wouldn't be great for work/teams. I really enjoy the style though. Also comes with some cool springy, quality long cables.

  • +2

I have an earlier model of these headphones, and my only criticism would be that because the cups are quite small and the headband is quite stiff (and I have a big head), they pushed quite hard into the sides of my head and so would eventually hurt my ears if I wore them for a long time.

I probably wouldn't buy them again if I was looking for headphones to wear all day, but for shorter listening sessions I would recommend them as I found them to be fantastic otherwise.

That's the exact same experience I had with the Major II. Pretty decent for short time usage but the ears ache quickly if wear them for awhile.
Palmed them off to the kids and they weren't keen on them either for the same reasons.

  • I have an earlier model of these headphones,

I tried an earlier iteration of these headphones, and they were possibly the worst headphones I have heard in the past ten years. They only comparably bad ones I have tried were $30 JB Labs headphones with built in volume limiters for children.

The $30 Crinacle IEMs that were posted here the other week from Amazon were several levels of quality about the Marshalls.

    • Yeah, I have II or III, not sure but very uncomfortable.

      • These are strictly fashionphones. For people where looks and a brand name override anything to do with sound quality. I suspect that nobody who owns these has ever experienced decent quality audio gear.

  • I have these I really like them especially the battery life but I've just been using my QuietComfort since buying them recently because of noise cancelling. (I don't have a big head though)
