[PC, Steam] Wreckfest US$9.47 (~A$15), Season 1 US$4.39, Season 2 US$4.13 @ YUPLAY

YU5OFF

I recently picked this up + both DLC from Yuplay and it's massively cheaper than the current price for the complete edition bundle available on Steam ($80)

I paid $28 for the base game and both Season 1 and 2 DLC, so a saving of $52 there. But even at the ATL Steam price (according to SteamDB) this bundle would be $7 more (@$35). So all in all a pretty fine deal imo.

All my codes worked fine and this is the 3rd time I've used YUPLAY for Steam codes and never had a problem. I have only seen people say that they are a reliable service and one thing I really like is that they don't slap on a hefty "service fee" or credit card fee, like so many other key sites do!

The game itself is regarded highly and is at 86 % Very Positive on Steam ratings, and many say it's the most fun in a racing game they've had, so this is why I wanted to finally give it a try. And also for the amazing looking crash physics, because smashing stuff is fun đŸ˜…

By my count the base game has 38 track locations and 98 track layouts, with 37 cars. The DLC brings the car count up to about 73:

Never heard of this seller but that’s a pretty good price

They're a keyshop (AKA a grey market seller), which they basically sell unused keys from various sellers. Often best to go to these with caution as some of the sellers on these sites can be a bit scammy. But I bought from YUPLAY once or twice and didn't have an issue but still.

@Valkian24 I've also heard stories of people having issues with some key sites, but honestly I think the perception that there is a lot of danger out there when using them is false. But I'm not disputing that there are some scammers.

It's just that when I first heard about key sites for the first time, maybe 10 years ago now, the vast majority of comments were about the scams and don't go near them etc. Now all these years later, having bought well over 50 keys from various sites, especially from Eneba, but a few others like Gamivo and Yuplay etc. I have never had a single issue. Worth mentioning is that most sites give an individual seller's rating % similar to EBay, so that helps too. Also, I have seen that the better known sites will give guarantees and refunds etc if you have a problem.

To me, it seems like it is maybe a case of a bad early reputation, hanging around a long time or maybe just needing to pick the more reputable and well known sites to deal with.

Anyway, I just wanted to mention my experience and 2 cents on this topic and I hope it helps give a better perspective to people who have not used a key site before.

Personally I've saved hundreds of dollars over the years by using key sites, and sometimes they are the only option when a game is de-listed, and many times it saved me from missing out on my game. So overall, I think they are a very good thing to use.

  • Yeah i've never heard of this cd keys seller. Perhaps approach with some caution. You don't know where the key is originating from.
