Will find you something with smaller range next time.

Jokes aside, not bad for spare data that is reliable and fast. The alternative is Lycamobile but too often the net drops out and pages don't load until 30 seconds later.

Sorry, we are unable process your order. Please try again later.
not sure the reason, but I can't place the order at the last step.

Does the same bullsh1t to me, such a pita.

They tried to pull a "Thank you for waiting over the chat I really appreciate your patience over the chat. We regret to inform you
that we are unable to proceed further. Due to privacy and access policies, we kindly request that you contact our voice
support team # 132200 Unfortunately, we are not authorized to complete this through messaging services." on me but I just started asking to file complaints about the 1 hour wait time on the call centre and them already wasting half an hour asking all the questions before hand and they activated mine.

    • the url for this message page ends with "decline". you've been flagged by their software and it's a lottery as to when you might be able to purchase.

  • Can the service be ported out before the cashback is approved (i.e. before a recharge is made) without voiding the cashback? I seem to recall that there used to be a condition that the service must stay active for 90 days for cashback to be approved?

    • keen to know as well

    • +2

Did that a few months ago and go the cashback.

If you check the special conditions, it only mentions that you need to activate within 30 days of ordering to get the cashback:
"SIM must be activated within 30 days of ordering."

    • That's TopCashback. CR has paid out many times for me doing this.

  • Number has to stay active till cashback is approved according to topcashback.
Apparently the same applies to other cashback sites, even though not mentioned in their t and c’s

Hope TopCashback offer better cashback soon

Hopefully so. Currently they have $8 cashback.

        Spare sims as back-up to monthly churn-sim: consider Lebara's 30d plans? https://www.lebara.com.au/prepaid-plans/30-day/

        Activate by 11-Aug-25. T&Cs apply.

Mar-25, I activated a large-30d-plan with printed 18-Jul-24 expiry-date. Obviously you shouldn't take that much risk. Most likely that you can activate their sim after 11-Aug-25.

  • Thanks, tracked instantly. Lets hope it doesn't require a plan renewal for the cashback to come through.

    • No it doesn't. Let it expire at end of 28 days but don't delete (or churn number away) from your Boost accout until CB approved.

  • Does anyone know whether Boost have number sharing feature (to a smartwatch)?. Thanks.

Thanks OP, cashback tracked instantly. I'm porting my main number in so I'll keep everyone update on whether the cashback is approved after I port out

  • So if I wanted to do this every month, is there a strategy to achieve this and keep the same number and still get cashback? Apologies if this has been asked before.

    • You would need to port out each month to keep the same number. Best option is to find an alternate SIM supplier and alternate every 2nd month back and forth. That of course is assuming there are Boost Deals available.

Other: I am not seeing this condition noted as part of deal i.e.That one needs to retain the number in your Boost account up to the point of Cashback being approved. In short, not to port out or delete it from account even if expired. Perhaps CashRewards don't implement this rule like others?

  • How have you determined this deals ends today?

    • Well they were right

      • +1

If only they could answer us or update the post with an explanation when they change the expiry date of the deal

        • CR ending the upsized cashback as opposed to when the Boost sale on the SIM ends.
