Sim and first month is $13, then it's $39 per month. You get the 65Gb for the first 3 months (after that it's 25Gb).

(Ok, ok, it's 28 days, not a month)

Best cashback looks to be $8.50 from Cashrewards

150 Mbps download limit, but does do 5G.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like it's only $13 for the initial purchase (28 day expiry)… then the full $39 for recharges afterwards. The only bonus is the extra data for the first 2 recharges.

    • I cleared that up in the description. The bonus data is for the first 3 months.

      • The title needs a bit of fixing as well.

  • Best cashback looks to be $8.50 from Cashrewards

    TopCashback: where is their higher $11 money-back offer…@trixieb ?
7-Feb-25 Boost purchase: just seen it as payable on 18-Apr…maybe turned payable-> 'Last Updated 04 Apr 2025'?

CashRewards: tracking is hit & miss, even STARTING via CashRewards-APP (NOT-desktop), click "Shop now" & be redirected to Boost-mobile website. https://www.cashrewards.com.au/store/boost-mobile.

    OP: thanks for your-post.

    • It's $8 at Topcashback

      • Correct & waiting for a better offer…@tightarse?

        • Boost SIM sale ends 12 May 2025. We are all waiting for tightarse at TopCashback to offer a better deal :)

  • No profit no buy

  • Also, these are not 'monthly', rather 28 day.
That 28 thing is such a PITA

    • ahh close enough.

  • How long the sim needs be active with Boost for Cashback purposes?

    • I think you get it when you activate the sim (which must be within 30 days of ordering). Certainly that's what qualifys you for the cashback. You can't deactivate it until you get cashback, but I've just left them dormant (not paid for any further months) and that's worked. It's a bit of a nuisance as they clog up the app.

    • SIM must NOT be deactivated until your cashback is payable. If the SIM is deactivated prior, Boost may decline cashback.

      Porting-out your MAIN mobile# is considered deactivating your-sim, https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/897596

Consider parking your MAIN mobile# with Amaysim for $10: wait for their discounted $30+ credit STARTER-pack, https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/16008184/redir

Apply for a NEW mobile# @ sign-up & let it expire after 28d…paying full-price defeats the purpose of these money-back deals.

      Strictly follow ALL-criteria, regardless of SOME-OzBargainers comments to the contrary…there's NO-recourse when CR/TCB/SB DIS-approve your money-back claim(s).

If you port-in your MAIN#, then it must be active & NOT-port-out until CR/TCB/SB money-back claim is returned to your bank. Venture OUT-side this criteria WILL risk your money-back claim being DIS-approve. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/897596

      • I use a yearly plan Woolies E-sim as my main number. That way you get the 10% off at Woolies deal.

Then use these Boost or other similar deals (Amaysim) for data. I like Boost for Telstra and Amaysim for Optus as I can stick it in my modem/router for house wide internet or when travelling in my motorhome rather than having to use the phone hotspot (a weakness of Optus branded sims).

  • Strange: someone reported this 40m ago?

This post is worse: T&Cs is vague, the perceive '1st-ever Optus sign-up' criteria is still UN-resolved: imo, https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/901185

    • I reported to the mods to add the expiry date from Boost website "SIM sale ends 12 May 2025".

      • Done

        • Thanks. Marked as resolved.

  • Is this online only?

  • Boost is the only SIM I've come across that couldn't verify my ID online. Had to go to a Telstra store for activation and the lady there told me this is normal? Not worth the trouble if so.

    • Nah. I do it with passport all the time online. I reckon a drivers licence would work too.

      • Don't think I tried my passport, but my driver's license and Medicare card didn't work.

    • I couldn't verify any id either, but with online chat they sorted it pretty quick

      • Oh OK. I think after verification repeatedly failed, there was a message directing me to a store.

  • Has anyone confirmed if cashback/shopback require the number to be active at the time of confirm like topcashback?

  • $9 cashback with TopCashback. Costs $4 after cashback.
