Pretty good for the amount of energy stored in there. The only downside is charging is slow. For people who want larger or smaller batteries there are 12ah and 36ah as well. Don’t stress too much if you miss the deal as they are constantly on sale every a few days.

Think you can amp up the charge intake if you charge via the lighter sockets

      • +2

Yes. But you need an appropriate DC charger.
I have successfully charged 24Ah and 36Ah using my Victron IP65 charger but its only a 5 Amp one so only 60w charging possible.

Yep, there is a youtube vid showing you can charge the 24Ah (possibly also the 12Ah) faster at your own

          risk. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hlBciEZPto&t=49s

The 36Ah is capable of charging up to 100W either via USB C or DC, and also has a MPPT solar charger

build in which works really well with the Kings 70W fold up solar panel which plugs in via a barrel

connection. I have both as back-up for my van's dual battery system and they got me out of a sticky

situation over Christmas summer keeping my 75 lt fridge going when I had a small issue with my master

fuse block untill I felt like repairing it lol.

        • Just bought this "Victron Energy Blue Smart IP22 12-Volt 30 amp 230V, 3 Output Battery Charger, Bluetooth (AU/NZ)" https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0B11PZ3JY sold by Amazon AU for $224, althought it will take 1-2 months for delivery. It has a current limit mode that can be used to charge this Kings I believe. I have 2x24ah and 2x36ah that need to be charged, and this 3 output is perfect.

Someone needs to tell Craig about this deal and that he is dreaming……..

Bought same exact package for 249$ last year.. used it only once so far.. should have waited for the sales.. could have gotten the 36ah..

    • +1

      I paid around $650 for a 60ah around 2016/17

prices are falling fast, best to buy when you need

    • Same (got mine for $198 with included $20 Kings gift voucher, still more than this deal lol),

then had a small emergency and got the 36Ah + 70W solar panel set which I kind of needed and wanted

but definately paid far too much for. Especially that we are now able to buy decent 100Ah LiPo4 batteries for below

      $250 for a while now.

finally picked one up today, ill be using a super fast wall charger, Ill be ok with the long charging time. Was disappointed the free light was micro usb ill be gifting that to someone

    • +1

The light is garbage, microusb, only works on charge and isnt very bright

      • +1

I thought the opposite. Did not pay full price as I also got it with this 24 ah battery, so maybe had lower

expectations. Actually find it pretty bright on max, like the variable brightness dial, and micro usb still

works ok for small lights etc.
