    Of interest, are the spelling and word games based on American English or British English?

      It's American English. I checked Spelling Master PRO and came across "Specter" as the correct spelling. British English would be "Spectre". It's most likely American spelling with "Math" instead of "Maths".

        Thank you, trixieb. I wonder if my grandkids will be confused by learning British English spelling at school and then seeing American English if they play these games.

      Haven’t used the spelling apps, but another word search title by the same developer (he has written about 10 of them) uses American English, but the one I use daily is too hard for younger kids anyway. I had to search hard to find a puzzle in the app where the American English made a difference though (‘COLORS’).

      The developer is Czech, so they aren’t USA-focused, at least. The apps I have used are all great quality and easy to use. Forget the kids! If you like word search puzzles, grab any from LittleBigPlay.
