  • Is it any good? I’ll need to buy one very soon, but I’m not too sure which way to go.

I have this model and no issues so far. Charged my s25 phone quickly.

      • Thanks for sharing your feedback.

theres a pic that the cable connects to iphone but its a usb c cable from this charger
unless you need to buy a seperate adaptor so can charge iphone (talking about the older versions of iphone that doesn't have usb C as i think its only iphone 16 that has it atm)

Probably because iPhones have also used USBC for the last 2 years now.

it has a in/out port on it, so I guess* you could plug in a USB C to lighting cable and charge that way?

    • +1

I ended up buying their zolo variant that has both USB-C and Lightning cable attached in same form factor. Very convenient and solid powerbank

  • The 20,000mAh model is also on sale for $59.99.

    • Can you please provide the link? Can't seem to find it.

      • +1

It's in the same link but under different size option.

  • I thought Anker was a US company until I read recently it's China

    looks a bit slippery -

sounds American - 'Anker was founded in 2011 in California, the brainchild of a group of friends working at Google. Fast forward a few years, we’re now the industry leader in mobile charging—empowering the lives of millions of people around the world' - https://myanker.com.au/anker.html

but not - 'Anker was founded in 2011 by Steven Yang in Shenzhen, Guangdong, but the company soon moved its headquarters to Changsha, Hunan' - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anker_Innovations

      So… what's your point?

      • I guess the point is: Anker talks like Silicon Valley but walks like Shenzhen

        • That's today's Silicon Valley, mate. It's very much like that now.

Has anyone actually tested one of these? Anytime a Chinese company like Anker claims a power capacity rating I don't believe it one iota.

  • These are actually quite good. Got 2 delivered 2 days ago and bought 2 more after trying them out.
