I don't think the Wifi slot (E key) can be used for SSD storage (M key) - not without some exotic adapter.

Meh warranty and landfill. I just don't think consumers should be putting up with it. They know SSDs need spare space to run efficiently.

The SSDs in these tend to not be that good so you are better finding an aftermarket SSD and installing it.
