I'm just wondering is it possible to do price beat at Officeworks on pre order item?
I'm thinking to get the best price possible on Switch 2 by doing PB at OW with Costco price then use 10% GC on top of it
Has anyone has success on doing so?

Doubt it. I've price-matched Costco before with an Apple TV, but I had to try a couple of OW stores before I got a guy who just wanted to get it over with. The others' excuse was it was members' only pricing.
With Switch 2, there will be more scrutiny. It's brand new and they'll likely sell out their pre-order allotment. There's zero incentive for OW to cut you a deal when there's a line of people willing to pay full price.

Wouldn't surprise me if supply is so constrained that no one has any deeper sales than what we already seen.
You could wait for a shipment destined for the USA gets diverted to OZ because of the tariff increases. Or hell might freeze over.
I'm pretty sure US will get slightly different unit from Aus cause of the plug
I've had no trouble with OW pricematching Costco over the phone on iphones and air pods, but agree that it seems they are less likely to do it for pre-orders. But a simple phone call to OW national line will give you the answer.
