They had better deals last week with the "DEALS" coupon they were running, plus an extra 8% off that was offered on the product pages, plus 11% cashback with CashRewards. Snapped a Yoga 7i 2in1, Linear Pen (customisation option), free battery replacement, and 2 year onsite warranty for $1900. Same laptop now is $1949 without any of those addons. Basically ends up the same price, minus any extras, after the $250 ShopBack cashback.

  • Only really the IdeaPad Slim 3 Gen10 AMD is on sale, works out to like $750ish.

Decent for an 8840hs, but the screen sucks.

Screen, ram or cpu. The god of bargain laptops requires a sacrifice

      • There use to be all available together for <$1000, now no matter where you look it’s a sacrifice.

P.s just noted the above has an ecoupon automatically added and likely isn’t eligible for Cashback

Very confusing on Lenovo, they advertise coupon prices and don’t specifically clearly state it involves a coupon / make it clear it isn’t eligible for Cashback

        • @Dyl It's the second line in my post description:

Auto-applied codes are eligible for cashback, confirmed with GYB previously.

            @trixieb: Oh, didn’t notice

Early morning and adhd don’t mix well

  • I’m looking to urgently buy a Motorola as my phone broke :( from Lenovo but no discounts right now. Any coupons that work with this Cashback pls?

    • None listed on the ShopBack site, so no.

  • Would paying with some lenovo rewards make the purchase ineligible for the cashback?

  • ShopBack rep (@gotyourback) can you please confirm if discount codes automatically added by Lenovo (e.g. DEALS, APRIL, WEEKEND) are eligible for cashback, as usual?

    • +1

Yes. It's the second line in my post description:

Auto-applied codes are eligible for cashback, confirmed with GYB previously.

Thank you, I missed that one. :)

  • Apologies, but would ShopBack work through the edu store?

    • +1

Unfortunately no cashback for edu store.

  • Would cashback work if the delivery time is 10 weeks?

    • +1

      Will ask the rep @gotyourback

      • +1

Hey @reactor-au yep — it should still be eligible! As long as the order isn’t cancelled, refunded, exchanged, or returned, the Cashback will still track and be validated as usual. 😊 Let me know if you run into any issues!

  • @trixieb @gotyourback Is it $250 cap per transaction or per ShopBack account?

I.e. can I do 2x Lenovo orders and get 250 back on each?

    • GYB may not reply on time. With ShopBack, when not specified, it is usually per transaction.

In Nov 2024, a similar question was asked in my Lenovo/ShopBack post. There was also a Westpac bank bonus of $100 cap which was specified as per user.

      Here is GYB's reply:

Yes, @rahoolz you should be eligible for Cashback if you are making 2 separate transactions and yup it will be tracked in 2 different entry if 2 purchases were made.

However please do return to the ShopBack platform and click through to Lenovo for every new transaction. Make sure the link on our platform is the last link you use to visit the Lenovo website or app.

  • Will the cashback track on outlet store? Can't seem to find it from T&C

    • No, according to the T&Cs from an older offer that I posted last Nov. ShopBack has recently removed the Lenovo specific T&Cs.

These items are not eligible for Cashback:

Purchases via the Lenovo Education Store, Outlet Store and any Employee Purchase Programs such as corporate partner stores.

  • Lenovo page doesn't work on ShopBack, click on "Shop Now" reports error message "We couldn't process your redirect" and goes back to the main page.

    • It's working for me now both on ShopBack website and ShopBack app to Lenovo website using Chrome. Perhaps clear your history and try again.

  • In my experience, ShopBack refuses to honour advertised Lenovo cashback claims with automated Lenovo discount codes. I followed up several times with customer service, and they still refused to grant the advertised cashback into my account. It sits there still, as "pending", despite their confirmation that they will not pay it.

Sorry to hear. T&Cs are from Lenovo and apply to ShopBack and other cashback sites. GYB has confirmed here that auto-applied codes are eligible for cashback.

Your best option of getting your cashback is probably to lodge a complaint with AFCA (Australian Financial Complaints Authority) as ShopBack is a member. It was mentioned on OzBargain and cashback was received quickly after the complaint was lodged. Here is the link.

      Good luck!

Appreciate the link, trixieb. Thank you.
