Jetstar October Flights to Tokyo

I have tried searching but am getting a little overwhelmed by the number of results…so I'm hoping that someone may recall this from memory. I'm not expecting any kind of crystal ball prediction, but just thought that if someone has watched them in previous years and remembers, that would be super helpful.

When I search, I can see a lot of deals for flights to Japan (mostly between now and the end of September) with a range of airlines.
* I'm hoping to travel in late October/early November (not available…yet?)
* Jetstar is the only airline that goes direct from Brisbane to Tokyo.

Jetstar direct Brisbane <> Narita looks to be just under $1200 with luggage.

I will admit I only decided that this is what I wanted to do on Saturday, so I've only had a few days of research, but I haven't seen many options for October.

So, based on previous years, are Jetstar flights to Tokyo in October a) still to come, b) already finished, or c) non-existent for that time of year?

    d. Fly to Sydney and catch JAL or ANA. Would cost you around the same but better service.

Agree with this if Jetstar Sales don’t eventuate.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm a really nervous overseas traveller and the overwhelming anxiety of having to get a suitcase from a domestic flight to an international flight would probably take any enjoyment out of it for me. I'm aware that's a me thing and I'll have to pay more for it, but if I could minimise it, that'd be pretty great.

        the overwhelming anxiety

      • Fly to Sydney the day before and stay at airport hotel

I got a return for free Tokyo > BNE deal in late January for late october/november.

Unsure if another offer will pop up, if Jetstar end up doing a big birthday sale soon as they have previous years that might be your best bet.

    • Ah, I'd forgotten that they had a birthday sale, and never even thought that it might have international flights.

I've only ever flown internationally once, and still just think of Jetstar as domestic.

October is low season so I would be comfortable enough to wait for a sale.

Their sales are almost always for Feb/March and Oct/Nov. I would wait another couple of months before panicking.

    They're sold out.

  • Op.. there are sales to narita on jetstars birthday sale but you'll have to adjust your dates.. none for October though
