Really low price on this previously popular power station and beating a lot of the more recent deals that have been higher. While only a tad more than the deal in December I think it's still excellent value for a portable power station.

The highlights being 518.4Wh capacity with LiFePO4 battery cells, two AU plugs with 800W (1600W peak) output and PD100W USB-C input/output. Like others it has the usual DC input/output and car charger socket. Full specs below.

The V1200 which is roughly double the capacity can currently be found for 649 delivered at mydeal. https://www.mydeal.com.au/12v-300ah-lithium-iron-phosphate-b…

Ohhhh damn 0.02s switching for use as UPS is pretty rad.

A lot are like 0.5/0.2 which is sketchy

      Edit: ahhh $45 postage though

      • I managed to get free delivery yesterday. Melb metro, maybe based on your location? - Delivery fee now popping up for me.

20ms is still too slow in my experience. That said, ive had a good outcome putting a slow 20ms bluetti behind a lower capacity cyberpower ups

You'd want a normal UPS in between a power station and the computer anyway, just so the UPS can signal the computer to shut down gracefully when the power station is drained.

          • @eug: Not many but some of these power stations have the smarts on one of the usb-c ports so that you can signal to the pc or NUT server. No idea about this one, would be good if someone who owns this could plug their USB-C into their pc and report back if there’s any devices on it

          • @eug: In my scenario i had a proper ups elswhere on the network communicating to a nut server and was happy to run shutdown processes based upon that ups.

      • Can these charge at a higher rate than draw? Do they have 240v bypass or is it double conversion?

These look like a significantly better option for a lithium UPS especially if I can use solar as an input!

Ohhhh damn 0.02s switching for use as UPS is pretty rad.

when I was researching UPS function.

I read 10ms (0.01s) is the ATX standard for computers. if that's the standard I think UPS can be a bit higher, like 0.015s or 0.02s but 0.02s sounds like it could be too close.

if you look at all sorts of power stations Eco Flow seems to be a big brand, their Delta models have 0.01s UPS. I think just one delta model has 0.015s which I think should be fine as well. they are not cheap though.

    • That is one good looking power station.

    • Oh damn now im struggling, so do I grab 1 of these https://www.mydeal.com.au/12v-300ah-lithium-iron-phosphate-b… or 2 of these? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/goto/904742

They both end up around the same price for me.

Honestly pretty solid for an occasional camping or van setup unless you've got a whole heap of 12v stuff permanently connected in a car.

  • Looks like PWM solar, but I suppose for the price.

  • Any suggestions on what to get to be able to setup a basic power supply in my shed at the back of our paddock.

I just want to be able to run some led lights and that's about it.

    • led lights

just get a large Kings power pack then. they are good value price per Wh and that's probably all you will need for lights they are low consumption compared to everything else you will have in your house.

How long would it run a brassmonkey fridge, anyone? And does it charge while in use?
