Update (Price War!) 1:18pm

We couldn't help but notice another RTX5080 deal go live here a little after ours. While sporting a 7800X3D / MSI 321R chassis / 32G of KLEVV Fit V RAM / 120mm RGB Air Cooler / 1TB Gen4 NVMe to match their offering as closely as we can, you'll find our deal comes down to $3185 after the discount code 😉 and $2885 for the 7500F variant! Not being quiet an apples to apples comparison with a few models not being identical, but for Melbournians, a local alternative if you were keen!

If anyone has ordered from this deal this morning before this price update, and the price has since come down on the exact configuration you ordered, reach out for a partial refund and we'll take care of you!

Goooooooooood morning OzBargain ‼️ and happy almost Friday 🥳

You spoke, we listened.

After getting several requests for something "more high end" after our recent $1499 / RTX4060 Ti PC deal, we're back with a RTX5080 variant. We didn't just crank up the GPU… oh no. We're going high end all round this time. 48GB of EXPO/XMP ready 6000MHz CL30 Hynix A-Die RAM kits, 2TB NVMe SSDs, High quality name brand chassis, 750W Gold Gen5 PSU and liquid AIO CPU cooling to go all round premium spec at a deeeeeep discount. A bit of a different approach to the usual OzBargain posts pairing a top end GPU/CPU for the post headline, paired the lowest cost components possible to achieve lowest possible and charging extra for every little upgrade. Two variants, latest-gen Intel and AMD Ryzen to cover both camps, hundreds of 💸💸💸 below PCPP/DIY built it yourself pricing. The photos don't really do this one justice, they're much prettier in person.

Oh and all the usual options in the list if you wanna save a bit of cash, cheaper CPUs, GPUs etc. all there to choose from. We've discounted them all as much as we can across the board, but as always the default config is going to be the fattest savings.

Even if this deal isn't for you, if you want to see more like it, show us some love and we'll have more ammo to take back to the product management team to keep the deal train rolling. Maybe drop us a comment below letting us know what sort of deal you're waiting for. All the feedback is always welcome and if there is enough of any particular request, we'll be sure to factor it in when putting together the next offering.

For those of you that jumped on our $1499 4060 Ti deal link last week, many thanks. The majority of orders have already been dispatched or picked up, we're cranking through all the newest ones pretty quickly as they come in. For anyone still keen, this deal still has a few more units available if you're quick.

BONUS STEAM GIFT CARD DEAL FROM MSI

While they make you jump through a few hoops to redeem it, there's $20 - $40USD worth of steam gift cards that you can score with these PCs also. Both deals are eligible for the first $20USD via the default, while the Intel variant also gets a further $20USD from the motherboard IF you upgrade to one of the MSI Z890 options available.

Details + full T&Cs linked here on the MSI website. The web page itself has some conflicting info regarding what's available, but if you scroll down the very bottom and click the 'See Terms and Conditions button, the full final lists of eligible models pop up.

Questions regarding Windows licenses & installation
- Yes, our licenses are 100% genuine OEM or retail licenses purchased directly from Microsoft authorized distributors. Physical copies of these products are provided with the PC including the license key cards and installation flash drive (for retail licenses) or COA stickers (for OEM licenses). Any system builder that doesn't provide these could be charging you full price for a grey market key of significantly less value and questionable origin. Always demand the physical copies!
- Yes, if you purchase Windows from us we will have it pre-installed, setup, updated and with all the required drivers pre-installed ready to go out of the box.
- No we cannot pre-install Windows for anyone who doesn't purchase a genuine license. We'd love to offer this as a service for those who already have a genuine license but selling a PC pre-loaded with Windows without a license purchase is strictly forbidden by Microsoft.
- Yes, if you have a genuine retail (not OEM or volume) license you can provide to us and that we can validate as genuine, we can activate it for you and provide the PC with Windows pre-installed. Contact us after placing your order with your order number and license details to arrange. OEM or volume keys cannot be accepted as they are non transferable to new systems.

  • 5080 and 9600x isn’t the best combo. Its so uneven, am I wrong?

    • +2

Definitely depends on the game / application, and on the in game settings / resolution.

The higher you crank the in game settings and resolution, the less the CPU is a bottle-necking factor and the 9600X more than capable of keeping up when that's the case.

At 4K you're looking at imperceptible differences. Here's a benchmark from TechPowerUp review paired with a RTX4090 at the time.

      https://tpucdn.com/review/amd-ryzen-5-9600x/images/relative-…

There's always the 7800X3D and 9800X3D upgrade options for anyone who needs the best of both worlds, or wants massive frame rates and lower settings instead.

    • should only be a problem at 1080p, but then why are you buying a 5080 system

  • @evatech any deals that's suitable for local AI/LLM processing, with high end CPU + dual high end GPUs? Thanks.

    • +2

Not that would be viable to be posted here on OzBargain :( That would be a bit of a niche product here in Australia.

That said, shoot us an email via our contact form if you're interested. Include as much detail as you can regarding the specifics of what you're after and we'll try see what we can offer!

      • Thanks @evatech, will appreciate your help on this. I am trying to put together a list that doesn't break my bank. Will send through once I've finalized it.

  • Loving the price battle!!

Any 5070ti builds in the works with as hot pricing?

    • As in 5070 Ti in the title of the post… not in the works just now but maybe soon. That said, we have a RTX 5070 Ti MSI Shadow OC card as an option in these builds. If you swap nothing else but the GPU from 5080 to 5070 Ti, you're still > $300 cheaper than PCPartPicker / DIY pricing.

Sorry, I should have looked into it further. Didn’t realise the builds were that customisable.

Any chance of the pick up bonus being included in shipping orders?

    • Sorry, no can do.

Not only does it jack the shipping cost further due to the added parcel volume, the shipping is subsidized heavily (we use a fully insured Fedex Technology Sensitive service) compared to what customers pay for delivery. The pick up bonus is just a little something extra to offer customers who can pick up from us locally and save us the costs of the subsidized shipping and insurance we're providing the customers who opt for delivery.

      • Last question(probably). Do you have this ram in black?
        Klevv 32GB Fit V (2x16G) 6000MHz CL32 White A-Die Hynix

  • Hey, do you offer any smaller m-ATX cases? would love to get one with the 5070ti option but in a smaller form factor.

    Thanks

    • Oops, just realised we didn't reply directly reply to your comment properly and left a new one below 😅 answer just below!

    • Same here, looking for Lian li a3 / asus ap201 sort of style as well. Would be great if we have those options :D

  • The default case is indeed mATX, but it's not overly small.

If you did prefer a smaller case, shoot us an email with the model (or models) you have in mind and we'll see what we can do.

  • +1

Hi, just wondering if this build qualifies for the Nvidia Doom promotion. Also would it be possible to add MSI B650M Gaming PLUS as an option for the motherboard? Thanks!

    • Interested in this also, I pulled the trigger this morning and ordered a system but it should be redeemable.

    • +1

Sorry, the PLUS model is currently out of stock, the Asus TUF model is the current stand in substitute for that tier of board.

As for the Doom promo game bundle, the eligible MSI cards are 100% included in this deal. Unfortunately while the default PNY card SHOULD be, we've had no official confirmation from their end. We'd need an end user to give it a try and let us know.

  • Oh no.. cheaper version of 5070ti is out of stock.

    • For what it's worth, anyone holding out for the 5070 Ti Shadow 3X OC to be restocked; it may not happen in time for the Doom promo, or even in time to take advantage of this particular deal which is largely dictated by what customers select and order more than a simple time/date deadline (which there isn't one). It may not happen at all even.

For context, since the Shadow is MSI's MSRP model, the quantity manufacturered/made available to us is severely limited compared to the more premium quality/priced models such as the Ventus 3X OC which is selling really well, and we've secured even more stock of just today to meet continuing demand.

Those afraid of missing out entirely wondering what to do; we would simply say "don't wait".

  • Just put an order through myself. Had to do a bank transfer so just waiting for it to be confirmed on Evatech's side. First PC upgrade in almost 10 years. Rocking a 1060/i7 7700. I went with a 5070 Ti instead of a 5080.

Looking forward to getting the new PC. Now I need to get a new monitor because the one I'm using is just as old as the PC and don't think it'll work with the new PC.

    • +1

Order locked in just now mate. Cracker configuration! Leave it to us, we'll keep you updated via automated emails/tracking page etc.

Your new GPU will have 1x HDMI 2.1 and 3x DisplayPort 2.1 outputs. If your monitor only supports VGA and/or DVI, even if you could get by with an adapter which can cause further quality/performance loss, your current monitor isn't likely living up to the PC's potential!
Look for something with ~144Hz or above, and 1440p resolution or above also.

      • Yeah I just saw it went through. Very excited! I've been looking at getting an OLED, but I'll look around and see what I can find. Thanks for the reply.

  • Hello @evatech, any chance of a 9700x and 5070ti combo in the near future? :)
    …. pre-eofy perhaos? haha xo

    • Not something on the cards at the minute, but will never rule it out entirely!

7800X3D is likely far better value for money as far as gaming goes anyway, or 9800X3D with a larger budget.

      • Thanks for the quick reply, sounds like I might need to 'accidentally' checkout with the 7800X3D…
