    • Completely Free: All features are 100% free, so you can shop smarter and save more without any hidden costs

    Price:Free

    In-App Purchases
    Monthly subscription : $3.99
    Yearly subscription : $29.99

May I politely ask what the subscription provides? It wasn't obvious on the various sites.

Unlimited items in lists and price alerts and AI features.

Search and price comparison is free…

      Good question!
The free tier(everyone who use this app) can have up to :
      3 shopping lists
      10 items per shopping list
5 products to track price on
Search/Compare/View price history is unlimited to everyone😃

The subscription gives you unlimited access to above. I have a small server cost to maintain this app. So any subscription would be appreciated.

Also please let me know your thoughts on the pricing etc. Happy to hear what you think!😊

Thanks for your reply. I figured there was a good reason, I just couldn't immediately see it.

Price seems fair enough, reckon you would could possibly save that in your first shop.

      • Also please let me know your thoughts on the pricing etc.

Is it better to get 10 subscibers for $3.99, or 100 subscibers for 99 cents?

        • Good point. Need to play around this…also I just realized my post is classified as a forum post rather than a deal😭. Maybe I need create something like 1 month membership free to being treated as a deal..

          • @old-hunter:

as a forum post rather than a deal

Free software cannot be posted as a deal unless the price has been reduced…

            • @jv:

something like 1 month membership free to being treated as a deal..

Sounds like a reduction in price to me

              • @TheFreaK:

Sounds like a reduction in price to me

                That's not currently on offer…

                • @jv: That's why it's not posted as a deal…

@TheFreaK: Which is what my comment was saying…

Do you have a website frontend instead of app? I prefer to do price comparison on my computer rather than mobile phone or tablet.

    • +1

Certainly will explore this option😊may I know the reason why you prefer the computer mode? Is it because you have many products to compare?

      • +3

I prefer the bigger screen and use other price comparison / tracker sites too.

        • Agree - I also much prefer having a keyboard and mouse to work with.

          • @ExPrinceHairy: Agree too. I probably won't use this app because it's inconvenient using my phone when I'm on a computer all day.
But if it's a website I'd use it all the time.

First impressions of the app (Android) - pretty nifty. Better version of Wiselist.

I'd use it if I was already out grocery shopping and wanted to compare prices between different stores. If I'm at home preparing the grocery shopping list, until there is a browser-based front-end, I'm still going to have my shopping list on one monitor and Coles/Woolworths on the other monitor to compare.

    • Thanks a lot for the feedback! Really appreciate the kind words and the honest suggestions.
You're absolutely right — a browser-based version is definitely on the roadmap

  • Another suggestion is being able to scan a product's barcode instead of searching for a product by entering its name. Both the Coles and Woolworths apps have this feature, which is handy if you are already at the shops.

  • Aldi now have their prices online. Are you considering adding them?

    • Good idea! There are many own branded products from ALDI so it is a bit hard to establish same product comparison. But I will for sure to explore what are the best ways to present ALDI vs Coles vs Woolies. Thanks

  • When a filter has been applied, I need to tap "Reset" then "Confirm" to reset the filter, which is not so convenient.

I think it would be better if all the categories pop up as soon as tapping on the "Reset".

Also, it's nice to have membership cards stored in the app, but I hope we can add cards by scanning bar code.

    • Thanks for the feedback! Will look into the improvement of the "Reset" button. Also noted down the ability of scanning physical membership cards.

      • Similar to this, I am using the iOS version of the app on my iPhone and have found that when I try to set a custom price alert, there is no straightforward way to remove the keyboard from the screen after typing in the custom price. Tapping the screen does nothing and there is no OK/Enter/Accept type button for the custom price once it is typed in. The keyboard also hides the ‘confirm’ button for the whole alert. The only way I found around it was to select the ‘alert type’ field to bring up the list again after typing in the custom number which forces the keyboard to be dismissed and allows you to then select ‘confirm’ for the alert while the price alert list is showing.
This is somewhat unintuitive unless this is just a bug for my phone only.

  • I just tried your app and really like it!
Simple design that does exactly as you advertise it to do. On the pricing, I think what you have made available in the free tier is fair and the subscription is reasonably priced as well for the added features. One thing I wanted to suggest was a one-off lifetime payment option for those who don’t want yet another sub for yet another service. Up to you to determine what that would be priced at likely based somewhat on how long people on average stay subscribed for but I really hate subscriptions but would likely pay for a lifetime unlock even if that were priced much higher than the other options.
Just an idea anyway as another pricing option.
