also good to soak electric toothbrush heads in

    • Hadn't thought of that actually but great idea. How often do you do it?

      • Once in 2-3 days.

      • once a week, also if i'm travelling i cleanser it first before packing brush head in my toiletries bag

it can also be used to sanitise reusable water bottles, I've found this stuff is very similar: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07N7YBL8C

Use these with Invisalign- works great

Yep same here! They work well. Had my plastic retainer for 10+ years and it's kept them clean.

Never worked for me. I use white vinegar.

This seems hardly expensive at $3.20 for 36 weeks worth? Under $6/year..

      • More like 10 weeks for me as I soak my mouthguard in Polident solution every other day.

I do too, but I only use a new tablet once a week and rinse things out. Works well.

  • does this usually prompt/pre-empt a price drop coming for one of the local sellers like chemist warehouse?

Isn't there also like a 100 or 120 pack for cheaper

For me these never get rid of the yellow stains when used with a dental pod

I just use sodium percarbonate powder from the homebrew suppliers. It's basically just powdered hydrogen peroxide and is what my dental appliance recommended. It's about $20/kg and about a teaspoon per day it lasts years

If you get any harder buildup vinegar will normally remove it, but you have to be careful depending on what resin and metals your appliance is made from for that.

Peroxide will kill the stains but I don't think it eats away the plaque deposits like vinegar

  • once a week? what about daily?

  • What will be the expiry date?

    • +1

Bought mine couple of weeks ago from Amazon, expiry mid-2026.

  • Thanks OP

  • Great for cleaning keyboard caaps.

Can use these to clean out CamelBak bladder as well.

  • Good for shower screen cleaning.

    • How do you get that to work? Drop some in water and then use a sponge? Surprised the concentration is high enough.

I grind teeth at night and had a mouthguard made here by a dentist that is very smelly. Tried it all and was soaking every day in these but still discoloured and smelly. Went to Bali and ordered two custom mouthguards from a dentist for about $100 in total. They are better than the Australian one. Also they don’t smell and I only put in these once a week. I brush with toothpaste daily.

    • you're not meant to use toothpaste on these things due to the abrasive nature of toothpaste.

      • I am using non abrasive toothpaste plus I already scratch with my teeth. I paid about $120 in total and dentist is https://fidelitydentalbali.com/

Take someone with you if you go as a bit of an isolated area. I went by taxi once for imprint and once to collect.

    • how did you find the dentist? whats the turn around time for them? Im going soon so very tempted to get some new ones.

      • Looked up online. Turn around about 3 days. They messed up my mouth guard (wrong material) but fixed up quickly and before I went to collect. I have been using one mouth guard for one year and it’s great. Bring your old mouthguard if you want the same material.
I only did mouthguards as I go to dentist here.

Pricelist is here. I think price has gone up . If you are a heavy grinder go with thicker mouthguard

The Steradent Denture Tablets are $4.25 ($3.82 S&S) for a 48pk. I have used both of these products for my Invisaligns and don't really see a difference in results. https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0768NRWQP?
