Giantz Garage Shelving: an Opinion

So, having previous experience with Pinnacle and Montgomery shelving I decided to buy Giantz from myDeal, because I didn't see any deals on the former.

Big Mistake in my opinion.
This shelving system is much inferior to the others.
Giantz is much more difficult to put together correctly.
Giantz does not work well next to each other. The vertical profiles are such that they are impossible to neatly tie together with the next racking.
Giantz comes with even thinner MDF shelves (this is somewhat offset by the centre brace on the shelving horisontals)
Giantz has sharp edges that make staking camping gear aso risky.

If going with MDF shelving, consider the cost of paint. (Unless your racking is in a very stable - dry environment) A pot of paint, enough for around 5 racks is maybe $80, mould additive is another $25. Or find paint that has an additive in it. + considerable time and effort to paint the shelves (i did 2 coats)

I regret leaving the other racks to the previous rentals - should have dismantled and reused. I can only recommend Giantz if low price is your only criteria.

Will be waiting for Montgomery sale to add and possibly replace the 5 Giantz racks I bought.

Hope this helps someone.
