I've taken part in multiple offers from spend $x at y store before z date, to take out $x Citibank quickcash for $y eGift card. I've never once had an offer paid out, despite following up on them many times.
I typically follow up every few weeks and get reference numbers to make it very clear it's not a fault of mine and that it's obvious they're avoiding paying out / hoping I'll give up.
Anyone else had this experience? What government agency do I escalate it to? I'm owed around $1,000 in total across eGift cards and cashback offers, all unpaid. Multiple I have reference numbers where they've confirmed on phone call(s) I met all T&Cs (could easily FoI call recordings).
- Kayo One Subscription $15/Month for 12 Months - Charged full price (was targeted in the end, though it didn't show up at first. Screenshotted as proof before signing up)
- Get $200 Cashback When You Spend $1,500 or More Online at Cathay Pacific - Confirmed eligible, not received. Followed up multiple times, keep getting told I'll hear back within a week, never do.
- Multiple targeted ~$25 cashback / other small cashback offers
- $250 eGift card on $1,500 ready credit (from memory) in ~2022. Followed up every few months for months on end, kept getting told to 'wait'. Never received.
They gave me a free non working NAB account
