OMG
Yeah so good, had two boxes the day I found out.
That would be so much nicer as it wouldn't taste as sickly-sweet out of the freezer. I prefer the Sarah Lee cheesecakes frozen as well for the same reason.
@Lizard Spock: Yeah I have always thought it was a bit over the top, usually gotta wash a box of pop tarts done in toaster down with like, a litre of milk.
Then proceed to destroy the worksite portaloo.
I only actually bothered to read the box the other day and it says you can also have them frozen (freeze for about 20 min ) - changed my life completely.
you should write an amazon self help book
"Pop Tarts - How I changed my life completely by finally bothered to read the box"
Always thought Pop Tarts were an American thing…
They are.
that's the best part about them
We don’t want American food standards in Australia. There’s a reason why many outside America call it a “boring dystopia”.
Appears to be a Woolies price-match, but for some reason they haven't managed to pick up the 1/2 off for the Cookies & Crème variant. Perhaps the amazon scraper didn't pick it up because it's "Cookies & Crème" as opposed to "Cookies and Cream" on their listing.

That intern's not gunna get a good reference!
Intern wasn't crème of the crop
I mean they're pop tarts, so I dunno what I was thinking but that ingredients list is pretty wild
Definitely shouldn’t trust American health standards…
As far as artificial ingredients go, it's pretty tame (look up the list for some bubble teas), however the amount of genetically modified and highly processed ones is concerning.
Apple cin is king
Apple is fruit
Fruit is healthy
Sooooo
"Bleach is healthy
It's mostly water
We're mostly water
Therefore we are bleach"
Brown sugar cinnamon nice - my fav and only consumable cause of dairy. Ingredients probably gonna kill. Back in the late 90s early 00s they had more natural pop tarts made in oz. GMO free!
I miss the unfrosted apple cinnamon ones from the early 2000s. I still remember looking for them in store after store before being told they weren't going to be sold anymore. Heartbreak.
Saturday morning riding my bike to training, while eating the second pop tart, rolling in right on time, and then exercising. Fond memories.
i wish they have the non-frosted pop tarts like in the usa. my teeth feel like they are going to fall out eating the frosting, way too sweet.
It's so hard to find non frosted ones!
USA Foods in Melbourne should have some https://usafoods.com.au/pages/search-results-page?q=pop%20ta…
Non-frosted blueberry is the best. Used to love those as a kid back in the 90s.
Great you made me spend $55 on this :/
I picked up some from Woolies recently just to see what all the fuss was about, and didn't enjoy them at all.
The thing is supermarkets kill brands off! And so we are succumbed to this lower quality tripe. Ain't that hard to make GMO free tarts. If I was a multi-millionaire, I'd open shitloads of food biz and f#*king piss all over mega brands like Kelloggs, Pepsi Co aka Asahi, Coke, Nestle, Cadbury, McCain's, Birdseye, Inghams, Steggles, etc just to name a few. Most of them are sub standard quality.
For eg.
I remem buying
-frozen papu giuseppe pizzas, they had capsicum, good meat and cheese and then they went to sh#*
-frozen chicken tenders and then the chicken mix they started using - well I don't even know wtf that was, even the free range frozen ingham chicken range I use to buy eventually became sh#*tty
-fruit juices, dairy, ice creams… So much, and foreign ownership especially Asian is to blame too!! Some really solid examples are our Dairy producers. Asians love cutting corners so there isn't any 😂 In WA we use to have Peters and Street produce some really good ice creams, then foreign ownership took over and (profanity) them up!
Soooo you’d just become another mega brand, thus becoming the exact thing you despise?

Nah he would be different to all those other mega corps as he would have done his time as a true blue salt of the earth ozzy battler school of hard knocks kind of operator and thus would never let profits, shareholders, and those ‘asian’ ways change who he was
My ideals and ethics don't believe in that system. capitalism has gone too far.
I would keep the companies separate - I wouldn't do any conglomerate to rule em all! Obviously I'd also keep sole ownership for as long as I could and since I'm not interested in profiteering, and love the mantra of customers first, employees second and shareholders last - the idea of quality would stick much better. This might sound grandiose but many companies in the 70s, 80s, 90s were like this until the reversal of their operational structure!
What is a pop tart 😬. As in sure i’ve had one or two, but could not make out the details of if that was the result of someone made a specific food named a pop tart or it was an accidental by product that happened to exist
i had always assumed the pop part of the name was from popping it in/out of the toaster (as in the convenience) or when it got 'popped' out by the toaster when it was toasted (the action)
Why do the strawberry ones come frosted nowadays? I miss the basic unfrosted strawberry ones we used to get. Wonder if you can still buy them anywhere in Melbourne… probably just USAfoods I guess?
Cool deal though, thanks!
I had always been having the choc ones toasted for years now , I only actually bothered to read the box the other day and it says you can also have them frozen (freeze for about 20 min ) - changed my life completely.
