Have been using Shopack and Cash rewards to flip flop between energy providers for a number of years now and generally have had no issues with getting cash back bar the odd inquiry that generally gets resolved. I was going to switch again tonight as they have increased cashback but noticed this in the T&C's that id not seen before.
-Cashback is only eligible for new customers of Compare Electricity and Gas only. This includes existing customers moving into new premises.
-Existing Compare Electricity and Gas customers who switch to different Compare Electricity and Gas plans/plan at the same premises will be ineligible for Cashback.
The second in particular made me a little hesitant to move providers again through them, as it would suggest that you can only ever use Shopback to compare and receive the cashback once per address. Is this something new? Ive not see it before but to be honest don't always avail myself of the current T&C's. I was only looking to see what the current serve period was to get cashback and saws these conditions. Anyone comment or know the state of play?
The cashrewards one specifically says every 6 months
