Might be your area?
Seems to be working for me in Melbourne
Sydney
Check again, might also be rural exclusion? Though I'm rural vic and it let me check out
Grabbed one, thanks!
Hopefully as thin as it shows in the photos but acknowledging that it probably won’t be.
Needed this, had a normal ugreen one but it's annoying plugging it in to phone, should be good to have it stick to the back and wirelessly charge it.
Just be aware that you will be looking at a 70-80% efficiency.
7.5W wireless charging
only on iPhone. 15W max on Android
Bought this last night and it says 7.5W only
https://www.amazon.com.au/UGREEN-10000mAh-Magnetic-Charging-…@bcYield: The one you bought is indeed 7.5w max, but it isn't the same powerbank as the one listed here…
Can anyone comment on how powerful the magsafe magnet is on this one? My old 1st gen Baesus wireless power bank had an atrocious magnet on it.
It's so powerful, much more stronger than my Cygnett power banks. Kinda gets annoying at times to remove it as it just sticks really hard.
Haha that sounds like the product works too well.
I wouldn’t bother with non Qi2 powerbanks now. All my old Qi1 powerbanks are slow and make the phone hot.
For anyone looking, this 10000mah one from ESR is $55.99, reduced from $69.99:
I can’t attest to this specific model, but ESR tend to have better MagSafe magnets than other products on the market.
ive been out of the loop with mag safe - what kind of cases do people use with these? Or just have to take phone out of case every time?
Just get a magsafe compatible case.
If you have any iPhone after the 12 series it is built in already. Android will charge but you’ll need a case or sticker to make it stick.
@Jimothy Wongingtons: Having a MagSafe car mount is game changing. No fiddling with the mount, no plugging in cables, just instant phone attach and detach
@DiscountForThee: Cheers hoping that too
Though it wasn’t a huge drama I thought, I had routed my cable through the gaps so it was always sitting near the phone anyway. And I was using a scoche brand magnetic holder (just put the magnetic plate between my phone and case)
@Jimothy Wongingtons: Sounds like you're already experiencing half of the benefits (no hassle attach / detach), but now you'll get experience it with much more compatibility of any MagSafe charger :)
I was so impressed with my partner's iPhone that I got a MagSafe compatible magnetic ring for my non-iphone case. Both our phones work on each other's chargers now
Cheers got this one and the car dash mount qi2 charger
You don't need to charge wirelessly. You can just have it hold on to the phone via magnet but charge via a small cable to boost efficiency and reduce heat.
Good to know - I never thought about doing that.
Agreed. I use mine a few times a month with iphone 15 plus, and love it every time… every aspect.
For when I'm 'on foot', and burn through the standard battery… and can't leave it connected to a GPO.
does this work for samsung phones with a magsafe case?
Yes it sure does.
In theory, yes, but slow
and hot
Not Chi 2 like previous deal aye?
Correct.
I don't think the $44 Qi2 deal will come back though - I've been watching that one for a while now as I missed out on it and they seem to cycle between 30% off sale or 30% off coupon, but never both (so the last sale bringing it to $44 was a mistake).
While it would be nice for Qi2 with my 15 Pro, I just pulled the trigger for this one given it's a good price. Wireless charging is slow (I have another one with the kickstand) but it's fine when out and about all day and just want to keep the battery going.
I ordered and cancelled…..still hopefully the Qi2 version will come back in stock….
Do these work for non-magsafe? Can I just click the power button and place my phone
Sure, just use a cable and charge, or get yourself a magsafe case on a phone that supports wireless charging.
Really good price! I paid a little under $50 for this a month ago.
Damn bro, you could have bought 0.000125 Bitcoin with the savings.
Thanks OP, snagged
It says currently unavailable
