I find the ‘per serve’ figures disgraceful.
Just use 10% of 3 different bushels of $3 fresh herbs! so the cost for the recipes is 90c, or 23c per serve - but then you have $8 left of herbs to use before they wilt.And the pantry supplies include things like balsamic, rice wine, stock etc. that is now so costly the ‘staples’ add a couple of dollars per serve.
I'm looking forward to a 90c omelette.
Just use your fridge supplies of eggs, cheese, milk along with some salt and pepper. Then buy a Woolworths pack of $3.60 pre-cut chives (serves 4).
Bit hard when per egg is closing in on 90c as egg supply crashes.

Go frozen broccoli (or other vege) for even cheaper/easier. (Although you lose a bit in texture.)
Spiced ham for a cheap meal? Why not, take the cheapest and most tasteless animal parts and make them hot and spicy works for the fast food companies. People eat them up.

Anyone else pissed off right now that they just increased the price on LA Ice? The 2L bottle. For YEARS it's always been $2… now $2.30! They are still F-ing increasing prices and STILL getting away with it.
Coles still has it at $2 and currently on special for $1.75 but probably won't be long until they follow suit.
I don't mean to swear but… F Woolworths. As much as I'd love to shop with Aldi but they don't offer home delivery and it seems they have no plans to ever do so. I'm sick of spending money at Woolworths.
