    I don't get the rrp

    • status symbol pricing - nothing wrong with it if one can afford the status.

  • Wow. Black sold out fast.
Silver metallic and tiffany blue are still available

    • Showing out of stock for Silver metallic and tiffany blue when added to cart and trying to checkout…anyone able to checkout successfully?

    Not even polarised?

  • These will likely get cancelled. But best of luck to anyone who snagged one.
They resell for hundreds used. (350+ USD based on ebay sales)

Some (profanity) here just bought every pair and is doing just this

        :D

        • XD

        • Lolz it could have only been you :-)

        • The man, the legend, the myth!

    • Serious questions, how do people proof its authenticity when selling through Ebay for items like this? These similar glasses sold on Ebay can probably be some Chinese knock offs. The only sure way I can think of to convince people its authenticity is by providing Myer receipt but then the potential buyers would know your real cost.

It'd be different when you buy it from Myer or DJ, cause they already have reputation on selling branded items.

      • Yeah it's definitely a risk you take when buying designer stuff from sellers on sites like ebay.

I guess you really just have to roll the dice if you don't know how to authenticate them yourself.
But if you do know, even the best of the best replicas have tells for most products.

The most you can do when buying used from ebay is ask for a copy of the receipt from the purchase, or stick to reputable sellers.

      • yea, just your receipt. then again, it still could be fake as they would buy the same knockoff and keep showing the same receipt.
if its too good to be true, it's probably fake. i would never buy luxury on ebay. i automatically assume everything is fake, and most of the time i'm right.

        • Yeh, just means these items are not good for resell even if its in stock. Also providing receipt for potential buyer, almost never end with a good ending. From my experience, once buyers know how much I paid they will no longer want to pay more than the original price

    Jokes I missed out 🤪

  • Chinese plastic? I'll give ya 35.

    • +1

      American plastic better?

      • We learnt from the last myer sunglass deal that these aren't worth such exorbitant prices.
Chinese plastic can also mean something of little value.

        • Well yeah, they're designer.
The quality to cost is almost always way out of wack.

      • I actually embrace our new overlords of the Mother Land.

A bit harsh, these are as study as their rebar.

    • 3.5 at the most

    i thought these were goggles

    • you aren't alone.

  • +1

Definitely supposed to be $808 in line with 20% off everything else. Wonder if any orders will get honoured.

  • wouldnt pay 2 dollars at a chinese shop for those

  • I think they made them look like crap to reinforce that they can sell whatever they want due to the brand name. I'd like to think it's an internal joke and they can't believe people are buying them.

  • +3

at first glance I thought they were swimming goggles.

  • +3

They are made by the same company as 90% of sunglasses.

I would also stick to Speedo for goggles.

  • When did swimming goggles become the latest fashion in protecting your eyes from the sun?

    • makes sense though! won't fall off, and no evil sunrays sneaking past the edges

  • +1

    i thought it's a swimming goggles

    • same here

  • I’m getting on the swimming goggles train

  • Just received tracking number for my order and it’s coming from China Wtf?

    • Luxottica ships from China where they're made

      • Just thought it is weird Myer is selling out stock they don’t have… in stock.
I guess I just assumed it was floor stock clearance

        • Maybe they've transitioned to dropshipping!

Edit : They HAVE transitioned to dropshipping (past tense)!

        • Still profitable at 90% off 😉

Tell me you are a geek without telling me you are a geek. 'Thanks, ordered 6 for resale value. Will try to offload it on eBay and use the profits to buy a RTX 5090 for half price'.

  • Why is there a trend of young women wearing such ugly goggles style sunnies like this?
