I got a good in-store discount on an LG fridge ($2,600->$1,950) at The Good Guys, and a day later JB HiFi had it for $1699 on a one-day special sale. Sent a request and they gave me $300 store voucher same day which covered the $220 Gold Service fee with 5 year replacement and then some.

You need to be lucky enough to time it right for the best bargain. All prices you see listed are negotiable, never pay sticker price, even when on sale.
