Dreame Z10 Station Stick Vac $449 ($419 with Perks) + Delivery ($0 C&C/ in-Store) @ JB Hi-Fi

70

In the market for a stick vac and found this. Not sure how good it is but it is usually $899. This one has an auto emptying charging stand.

  • this is a well known brand, but probably better getting one of this at a 3rd of price (when on sale): https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/898623

    • Fair suggestion! However I reckon the main pull for this is the auto emptying stand, which most stick vacs have them include at around the $1k mark, Shark's Clean & Empty being one of the exceptions I found ($400).

    • The one you linked had a comment saying it doesn't have a multicyclonic filter system, could make for more maintenance. Great price though!

I do not see the real benfit of auto emptying for this type of handheld vacuum
you still have to emptying the stand at some point

if it's robot vacuum, I would pay the $$ for that benefit
robot vacuum will run when you are not at home or during your weekend gateway with family

Just my own thought on this

      A few benefits for me:
      - Advertised to only needing to empty every 90 days (ofc ymmv). I'm only spot cleaning so this will help.
      - I have massive dust allergies and dealing with the dust cloud when emptying (might be skill issue) isn't fun.

I don't know how good the vac is but I'm hoping its a quality $419 vac with the stand being a bonus feature.

fair enough for health related issue
technically you just need a bigger/larger containers to hold , so that you are not emptying frequently.

I used dyson for almost 10 yrs. replaced the batt twice with 3rd party. and still going strong
mainly use it for spot cleaning and during winter time use it to clean around fire place

what about in term of battery replacement ? Dyson one is easy and cheaper to find for generic brand

    • Yes historically Dyson has better third party aftermarket support. Horde of battery and attachments. While it good to see local warranty support with JBHIFI. Dyson is the smarter purchase if you can find one on sale.

  • Dreame wet and dry floor cleaner worked good in my house, might give this a try
