  • No micro sd slot.

Normal in most phones now apart from budget phones

Hilarious that is a budget feature now.

My S20 FE has a micro sd slot but later ver of the fe phones have taken them out just why, why couldn't they just leave it intact.

    • Yeah since security updates are ending fairly soon for the S20 FE I'm interested in getting a new phone (especially to be able to use eSIMs), but nothing really stands out. The price on this deal is great but there are so many dealbreakers that I might just flash UN1CA on my S20 FE instead to prolong its life a bit more.

      • I changed to the A55 from S20FE which was a good upgrade. Sucks they removed it from A56

        • I will have a look as well, still with S20FE :), working solid but battery has been degraded.

          • @galaxiers: Same issue, the phone gets really hot and batt draining is crazy. Love the microSD slot and new ones are just upsetting. Still trying to hold on!

    • Every other flagship and upper mid range phone is the same

Pretty hard to sell the 256GB model if the 128GB model has a SD slot.

    • Because they want you to pay for storage and they are united about it so no manufacturer now provides an sd slot and the justification is poor read/write speeds which maligns their product ..so there is no choice for consumers..I am still sticking with my s20 fe 5g … from vivo x 200 ultra and the xiaomi 15 ultra and even the Sony experia 1 mark seven..looks like both Samsung and Apple have a lot of catching up to do in the camera department ..it is a pity none of those phones are local or have a refined OS except for the Sony which does have a micro sd slot.. so wait for the next wave either the major manufacturers evolve or cave in just like the automotive sector

    • Cut cost and so they can upsell you model with larger memory for higher priced

    This or the Moto G75?

Two different budgets , why ask ⁉️

Never buying an Exonys phone again. Had a S21 and phone used to overheat during video calls and die.

    • +4

Was that i common problem? I still have s21 no problems

      • I believe it was performance issues such as being slow & laggy that's why i decided to go for Snapdragon and that was awhile ago but as of now have no idea.

        • Oh i c thanks, how is

          Exynos now btw?

    • +1

      Still use my S10 daily

    • No exynos for this one

      • Checked full description on ebay.

        Performance

        Chipset: Exynos 2400e
        CPU: Deca-core processor
        OS: Android
        RAM: 8GB

        • Ah ok I must be thinking of S25

Samsung Australia won't touch this if you have problem with it. Warranty is with Kogan directly. Caveat emptor!

    • -1

Yep, Kogan warranty is always with them from experience and although i got full refund after using it for 1 year, i had to go through RMA and it was sent to Hong Kong and took a few weeks.

      • Refund? I heard they give credit and avoid refund

        • They always offer credit, if you decline, they will give you a refund back to original payment. I haven't bought since my s7, so things could have changed

    • It's like they didn't manufacture the phone! XD

      • In the unlikely event that you require a warranty repair, we will collect your item, repair or replace it, then return it to you at no charge. We recommend that you keep your original product packaging if possible. In the unlikely event that you require a warranty repair and you do not have the original packaging, you will bear the responsibility for safely packaging your Product for transport and Kogan accepts no liability for any damage that may occur in transit. If your product was exclusively available for shipping to Sydney and Melbourne metro areas, return pick-up would occur from these areas only.

  • I purchased a Motorola Moto G75 from Kogan last week for $289.85 on eBay. Received the phone today in a flimsy thin plastic cover. They didn't bother to bubble wrap it or ship it in a cardboard box with some protection/padding.

I have been advised by Kogan that they do not bubble wrap mobile phones when they ship them out. What's the point in spending in hundreds for a phone which can't be shipped properly? I haven't opened the package yet. Don't know whether to return it for a refund and buy somewhere else.

Good deal thanks for sharing op. I'd pull the trigger if not for Exynos and no SD slot
