It does - well, it should - the Morning Glory Adelaide Facebook page has been advertising the 50% off sale all this week.

It's best to ask the true terms and conditions before wasting time looking through their shop, so you don't simply waste your time.
Be warned, different stores have different definitions of the word 'everything' - last time 'everything' was 50% off at Morning Glory in Chinatown, it seemed to only include 'everything' that wasn't already marked as being on discount. According to their staff, some stock had been already marked as 50% off (but no label indicating so) but some stock hadn't. So of course, after spending an hour with the girlfriend going through the store finding stuff, they wanted us to just pay the marked price. Only one thing they said wasn't already discounted, so they would give us a box of staples marked $1 for 50c. But the $50 teddy bear? No, that's $50, it's already 50% off. Dodgy and I'm sure illegal, but who's going to do anything about it except walk out and never go back there? The staff couldn't speak enough English to hold a conversation, so it wasn't worth arguing, they just didn't get any of our money.
I've also been burned by OzDesign Furniture in Moore Park who keep advertising 'EVERYTHING ON SALE' every few months but when I went to spend a gift voucher, they said it didn't include gift vouchers as they were already part of another offer. After wasting two hours going through the store looking for stuff, they wanted me again to pay full price for something (though I could pay half price if I didn't use the voucher - even though the voucher was only a small % of the purchase price.)
Nice venting. Feel better? You should have a crack at Harvey Norman as well since you're releasing your build up tension.
Yer I had a similar problem with toys r us. When I had a voucher 20% off store wide. It excluded toys already on special. Several toys I found were discounted 10% and I argued that I should be allowed to pay full price and receive the 20% discount, but was rejected.

When my 11 yr old niece from the US and 13,14 year old nieces from Darwin visited recently for the holidays, they couldnt get enough of this shop. We probably went to all the MG stores in Northwest Sydney and they spent nearly all their savings.
Lots of anime stuff which appeal to their age demographic.
how nostalgic! i used to go to morning glory frequently when I was still in high school to buy their overpriced cutesy stationary. I stopped going when I went to uni and used free pens from expos instead.
