TP-Link Deco BE65 Pro BE11000 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 7 Router 2-Pack $613 (RRP $849) + Del ($0 to Metro/ C&C/ in-Store) @ Scorptec

Was looking at this recently posted deal and found this Scorptec deal for a 2-pack for the Pro version which looks to be a significant upgrade, especially if using wired backhaul. Also, as pointed out by someone in the other deal, its always nice for a Mesh network router to have something to mesh into…

I wouldnt say its "significant" upgrade over the BE65. I have the non pro version and main difference is PRO has 5GBps LAN ports which not many can use as you need a switch setup at those speeds. 2.5 is more than enough for 99% households. Pro also offers bit better speeds, up to 11GBps vs 9.2GBps on the non pro, minor difference and wont notice in day to day.

however price is qute a lot higher for the Pro so I opted for the non pro one and very happy with how it performs, 3 units in 2 storey house with wired backhaul. Works like a dream. Was $800 I think for 3 pack.

    • I meannnnnn…. A lot of people would consider it to be a fairly big upgrade to be able to actually use the max speeds of the device between wired and wifi devices in a home. Not everyone needs that, but by that argument currently not everyone would need wifi 7 either heh.

    • Is HomeShield subscription included?
If yes, is it trial one or not?

  • WAN auto sensing?

  • The most significant upgrade is to the 5ghz band, which is where the vast majority of devices still sit. Still, the non pro 2-pack from good guys commercial might be the better buy for most, if it becomes publicly available.

  • I just bought a non-pro BE65 3 pack from Amazon this week. $877 for 3, a great replacement for my Deco M5 network. All of a sudden I get the full bandwidth of my ISP connection, and a VPN as well. Didn't need the pro high speed ethernet ports. I recommend this product.
