Wouldn't this have a 12V capacity of ~172Ah, not 54Ah? Also, I think they really need to put anderson plugs in these devices.

    • +3

The batteries they put in all power stations now are rarely 12v so they can charge them faster, the 200v2 has a 38.4v battery in it.

I've told our guys at Bluetti multiple times that if they're bothering to do the AUS market to use some sort of Anderson to no avail. I guess we're a small fish in a big pond.

  • Can this charge an EV, albeit only 1-2%? Or do they not have a a ground/neutral bond capability?

    • It can be grounded but I would heavily recommend finding another way to charge an EV (It will granny charge it)

  • +1

Great deal! Better than everywhere else but this is only $200 off. I saw this at $2299 on your site few days back. I appreciate that the price is better with you even before this deal. Wish I can get one but cant afford at the moment. If anyone is buying 2kwh power station, this is best especially due to 6000 cycles to 80%. Incredible life if it is true. Wonder if rest of the system will be that reliable.

    • +2

If you screenshot the pricing we can hold that price for you as a make shift quote when it goes back up if you like, if you'd still want to go with us later down the line that is.

We've put this sale on top of the already running Power Station sale we've got running early, which is why it seems shallower than usual, we don't want to do a woolies and raise and lower. Appreciate the feedback.

Bluetti are claiming 6000 cycles due to their new breakthrough in battery technology, from what we gathered they've gone prismatic.

    • If you want to use proper residential high wattage and cheap solar panels to charge it at the rated 1000W this unit sucks because the maximum solar input voltage is a measly 60V. That eliminates the ability to use panels in series, and two panels in parallel is the best you'll get. The older AC200MAX is much better in this regard it takes up to 145V and I have one using 3 x 440W panels in series.

      • So the data is a bit hard to understand since they don't clarify but we've spoken with the technicians and you can use 60V on each string (the P200V2 comes with an XT60 to MC4 with 4 MC4 heads allowing two strings). You can put 60V on both strings simultaneously, just cant charge over 1000w of solar.

It's worded weird but we guarantee you can do that.

  • Seems good but ALLPOWERS R2500 cheaper, although 2016 kWh slightly lower , this has 2.7kW Peak 3.9kW vs Allpowers 2.5 kW Peak 4 kW
Allpowers is 1499 direct from Allpowers AU and they have good warrant service (sent back wnen x1 USB 100W port stopped functioning
    Both have 5YR Warranty

  • +3

Avoid ALLPOWERS at all costs. I've been dealing with a warranty issue for over a year now, and there's still been no resolution.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I'm reaching out to all fellow OzBargainers—I'm trying to find the ABN or ACN for ALLPOWERS so I can file a complaint with the ACCC. I've had no luck locating it; it's as if it doesn't exist. Can anyone shed some light on this?

    • I had my warranty claim with Allpowers fixed in 3 weeks - compare this with VoltX here they had to collect Volt1500X twice because arrived diabled after first warranty claim ….

    • I think they are incorporated in Hong Kong as HK ALLPOWERS TECH LIMITED, hence no Australian ABN/ACN

This is from the bottom of their terms of service page <LINK>

      • I thought in order to get .com.au requires ABN and ACN?

        • Good point and looks like you are right. May need some paid data from information brokers to track it down.

    • Domain is registered to

      Registrant: TOPNETS TECHNOLOGY PTY LTD
      Registrant ID: ACN 603238722

No ABN exists but the ACN is on ASIC registry?

      Not sure if that helps.

    • I second this. I've tried Allpower R2500 but when I have to returned it for full refund, they refused to arrange for return even though I bought it from their eBay store, and I have to claim eBay protection.
When I'm trying to charge it for the first time, something inside (I assume it is a capacitor) exploded, continue to producing small crackle, and emit smoke as soon as I plug it into power outlet.
The unit then refused to be charged using AC inlet after this. DC charge is not affected. Not going to buy Allpower again after the fiasco dealing with their useless customer service and refund process.

  • @Moorabbin Batteries
    Great deal on Power Station!
Are you able to match or better HN deal on Bluetti Charger 1 $319 currently on their sale.
Would be easier to order Charger 1 and 200 V2 from one place.
    cheers

    • Good question,

Unfortunately we cannot as we physically stock all the items and Harvey Norman use their marketplace (still just Bluetti through HN.)
We would be happy to if you can find a place that physically stocks the item that beats us.
(we have a email sign up $10 off that might help, i know its not a lot but that's what we've got going right now.)

      • Thanks for prompt reply and being honest.
        another question, :)
        Isn't the Premium 200 V2 is 2,700W AC?
coz here and on your website it's listed as 2,600W.
My understanding is that the ELITE 200 V2 which is for online sales, has 2,600W AC and PREMIUM 200 V2 which is for retail shops has 2,700W AC?

In the past the PREMIUM versions would have more battery than ELITE versions, but in this new 200 V2 it appears that the only difference is the AC output, is that correct?

        cheers

        • Yes, you're correct once again haha.

The Premium for the Elite has a larger inverter (not sure if it's software or the actual inverter but I'd doubt the inverter being swapped this marginally.)
That's the only difference. In the past the battery was larger (still not sure if it was software for the smaller units allowing a deeper discharge but for some of the bigger units we know the batteries were different.)

Our bad, when we listed the P200V2 the datasheets we were given were for the standard E200V2 so we manually converted them when we learnt the specs, we must have missed the description specs, I'll get the monkeys on the typewriters.

  • I sent my unit back, and in a dodgy move, they still asked for proof of delivery. Luckily, Australia Post happened to have a signature confirming it was received. It’s been over a year now, and their responses come only every 2–3 months if at all. At this point, I’m out of pocket and without a unit, with no resolution in sight. That’s why I’m taking it to the ACCC

You should click 'reply' link below the chats and use it to respond instead of adding new comments. It will be easier to comprehend for others.

      • Oh I thought I did my bad

  • +1

I have a lot of Bluetti power stations and expansion batteries (most of them bought from Moorabin Batteries), and I can confirm that this is one of the best Bluetti products out there if you don't need the expansion. The efficiency of this power station is noticably better than other ones (especially that AC200PL which is terrible). Also I see people mention ALLPOWERS. I bought one R1500 and end up returning it because it was faulty on arrival and the build quality is miles away from Bluetti.

    • Thank you for being a loyal customer of ours. We like the P200V2 as well, we're shooting a video on it and promoting it as much as we can!

  • Does anyone know if the bluetti/ecoflow app requires an account and/or internet access to function?

    • +1

The Bluetti app does not require an account and can do Bluetooth connectivity. The EcoFlow app needs an account.

      • Thank you for answering! EcoFlow :(

  • I have a studio room without electricity connected.

In winter, it can be quite cold. I'm wondering whether this battery inverter can power a Dyson AM09 Hot+Cool Fan https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/dyson-am09-hot-pluscool-fan-4…

    • edit A quick google confirms 2000W power draw on Max heat setting, you will get ~1 hour of run time (details below).

You need to know the power draw of the heater (I checked the website you posted, but couldn't see it listed) if the heater is say, 2000W, then a power supply with 2000Wh capacity will power the heater for 1 hour only. If the heater draws 1000W, then you can power it for 2 hours. Heaters are quite power hungry, 1200W to 2400W, generally. I don't think this will really be suitable for your use case, you'll need a different solution I think.

Someone with more expertise might weigh in and be able to confirm or provide more details for you.

      • +1

You are spot on except that you wont get all of 2073.6Wh. There will be some loss, say 15% to 20%.

  • Update:

    • Price drop to $1999 !!
      Alas I already paid $2099

How low will it go? :)

      • Scotty really has gone mad, truthfully I wasn't even aware of this change.

        More savings for everyone!
