I think yesterday was 349 before code. Nice find.
funny thing is their refurb model is selling at 509.lol

    • +19

You're not getting an oled monitor at this price.

  • Does the code apply to other monitors? I'm interested in another one

  • +1

It appears to be a marginally better S2721DGF, no?

    • +4

Given most people still want to sell their used dgf2721 for $250+ , this is a great deal.

    • +2

      The S2721DGF is the 1440p 🐐

      • Missed 1 for $150 from marketplace the other day. Lol

      • Mine is still kicking and honestly is doing fantastic after all these years lol. I want to upgrade to an OLED but then again, do I need to right now?

        • Not until OLED text improves, if you use it for productivity as well.

I don't like the idea of having to run third-party applications to 'fix' the rendering in ways that don't support all applications.

          • @heef: Yeah that is one of the major factors putting me off OLED for a PC monitor as I prefer to stick to 1400p and I hear even the latest gen screens give questionable text fringing at those resolutions. Not prepared to get 4K yet as I rather enjoy gaming at high frame rates

  • I need to get two 27" 1440p screens… preferably around this price range ($250-$300 each). Is this a good "bang for buck" display, or is the MSI MAG 275QF (180Hz IPS) for $259 or AOC Q27G4F (180Hz IPS) for $279 better?

    • Dell is good for the warranty, specs wise, they probably using the same panel.

    • This one has 2 * displayport inputs if your prefer that. And has better ergonomic adjustability compared to the MSI.

    • Why 1440P?
Just get the Lenovo N27P 4K for sub $300

I was about to pull the trigger on the MSI Mag 274QRF QD E2 but this seems soo much better

  • Apparently this model has the same panel roulette (LG / BOE) as one of the HP Omen monitors that's featured on OzB a few times in the past. Can anyone confirm this also applies to this Ailenware monitor?

    • Yes, roulette. You can always return within 15 days. So if this is an issue, still can get money back.

      • I assume LG is still the preferred panel of the two?

        • Should be, guess you have to put an order to see which one you get.

    • Looking to order now, is this an issue to watch for?

      • Well, not for everyone. Many would not even know this.

        • Just out of curiosity how/where do you check which panel it is? Thanks in advance🫡

          • @Parco300: For the hp, I think people check the serial numbers, don't know specifically for this ,I think you can use some software to check at least

  • This or the Omen 27Q? Already have the omen but im considering switching.

    • 27q is not console ready, this is. 27q g2 is Console ready though

Lol is it wrong I want this for my office monitor? Ips > OLED and it has a USB hub which I miss so much!! Seems like a steal.

  • Thanks OP. I’ve been looking for a 27” that I can use for WFH and eventually gaming when I get a PC.

  • Ordered.Thanks OP.

Pulled the trigger. Had student account and got it for 253 delivered. The code does not stack up with student membership discount. Thanks OP.

  • +1

    • +1

      Christmas in July?

      • na, i will stash them till dec,

    • +3

      Good swap!

    Thanks op

Also, don't forget cash back. Another $4.22 save. Lol

      • But it says "Alienware (Excluding monitors)" for all three of them.

        Did yours go thru?

        • +1

that means aw monitor is ineligable for 2.1% cashback, still qualify to 1.7% monitor cashback
          yes, it is tracked.

  • Just note that the RTINGs review points out that Dell is falsely advertising this monitor as having HDMI 2.1 but it only has a HDMI 2.0 port.

    • +1

Hdmi 2.0 bandwidth, yes, basically it's HDMI 2.0+ some hdmi 2.1 features. Doesn't really matter, cos it's not a 4k monitor, if you use PC, you are likely using dp. If you play consoles, it can still do 1440p+120hz+vrr+(HDR, if you like).

  • Any good for gaming?

  • OOS!

    • dang I just missed it!

      • try now, i can still add to cart

update, yep, removed from cart, not available

  • +1

Damn good deal. Would've preferred this over my Dell G2724D that I got for around $300. But that was a year ago.

  • +2

Fcuk, missed it. Was in my cart for hrs and forgot to pay.

  • Anyone got one, had buyers remorse after, lives in Melbourne, and wanna sell theirs? :D

    • count me in plz, also in line, living in Mlebourne

  • I’m still rocking my XB271HU. It feels like unlike CPUs and GPUs that panels haven’t had that great of leaps in tech.

    • Same, still running 2 XB271HU's, haven't really found a reason to replace them yet.

    • Huh? OLED is generally considered a massive leap. Unless you mean at more budget price points in which case, yeah. Although 1440p has got cheaper, 4k prices are pretty stale around the $500-600 price point.
