  • Really tempted to grab this! Been eyeing off a fully auto machine for a while and this deal seems crazy. Anyone have experience with this machine? Also would the cashback bring this down to around $632?

    • I have had the previous version coming up to 2 years no issues. It does require a bit of maintenance and cleaning, the descaling process is a PITA takes 45m.

I do worry a bit about what happens when the warranty runs out though.

      • Seems to have good reviews! The whole cleaning process is putting me off a bit though.

    • My coffee place at work charges $5.5 for a medium size coffee.

At $720 for the machine, it will take 26 weeks to pay off itself. Without factoring in the cost of coffee beans/water/electricity etc etc.

  • Website says 20% cash back on cash rewards, correct?

  • You cannot stack up with cashback since the site specifies “You won't get Cashback on:
Vouchers or Promo codes not featured on our platform”. Isn’t it?

Also Cashrewards site just indicates 8% and not 20% as indicated in Delonghi site so a bit confusing.

    • +1

Yea not sure about cashreward there..

Bought it via shopback yesterday. It says take 2 days to track. Will report back if they process the cashback.

      • did it end up tracking? which code did you use, if any?

    • Shopback shows "tracked" but $0….I guess no cash back then :(

      • did you use promocode with purchase though shopback? or you didn't use the promo code and shopback still didn't track it?

    • Spoke to support you can only use the cashrewards code (cash5) for 5% off but it stacks with whatever cashback is running as well

Use Voucher/coupon PLUSSS or SSNOW to bring it down to $649.00 through their ebay shop.

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/396550718626?_skw=DeLonghi+Magni…

    • 25% off but max discount is $100. So it will be only $699. Still good price!

Edit: ebay listing doesn't mention about the free gift. Not sure if its claimable.

They include the free gift in my order and shipping.

You can stack up the 2 coupon code which brings it down to $649. But yeah, not sure if the free gift is claimable. But you can buy it separately, so probably the ebay deal is better if you're not interested in the Travel Cup. If they do ship it, then that would be a bonus.

        • +1

I asked about the gift and they said via ebay it has to be the main website.

          • +1

@Joyoz: On a side note, I recently had to return a faulty coffee machine to Delonghi. They also requested the 'gifts' back as well, one of which being coffee beans which had since been consumed (also some nice glasses and canister).

            • @cc81: lol that's ridiculous. would they deny you warranty under ACL if you consumed the beans?

              • +1

@xrailgun: I ended up ringing them to make sure it was a legit request as it sounded stingy. Their reasoning was that if I bought another machine through them they would have to send out another set of gifts. I have since bought another Delonghi but not through them!

  • This one or Eletta Explore Titanium from Good Guys Commercial for $1442?

    • +2

My friend has the eletta and said the cold drinks are overrated and wifi. Turning it on it will drip liquid making it unable to make the coffee from remote. Riviera one on ebay ends up $929 which does cold brew.
I own the slushie marker and Ninja creami so I didn't feel it was worth getting cold brew. It looks like you still need ice for the cold drinks. I'd rather just use ice and pour a shot in.

  • Thanks op! Went the ebay route and stacked the 2 codes to get it down to $649. Hopefully a good starter automatic for my partner and i!

    • Got my machine yesterday. Made 4 -5 cups so far. Pretty happy! $649 is an amazing price for a fully automatic machine I reckon.

The milk carafe is smaller than it looks. You can get 2 x 250mil cup from one refill.

I do like the Stokke travel mugs. Feels premium.

      • Good to hear! Yea really pumped to get it.

My partner and i use different milks, so i hope it wont be too much of a pain swapping them around.
