Not gonna lie these garment steamer inventions are potatoes unless commercial quality. Just use a smart ALDI steam iron and call it a day.

      • There was one last saturday I saw which I bought for $39. The one you posted now is different, try go to local ALDI and see if they still have stock.

    • Idk I have an sg1000 which is less steam and does ok for quickly hitting my work shirts and polos for the week. These kind of cheapies do have a time and use.

    • I've got a basic sunbeam steamer that I much prefer over an iron for light wrinkle removal.

    • I have a cheap one I got from Target years ago. It takes a little longer than a regular iron but I don't have to store or set up an ironing board so overall its better for me.

I dont need it I dont need it I already have 4 garment steamers sighhh . Place order

    • Now you have 5?

      • +1

        One for each work day.

        • One for each appendage.

        • So I need 2 more for the weekends? Say no more

    • which ones you got nd pros and cons ….want one for wool suits and linens clothes, have iron for cotton shirts, pants, etc , want steamer for linen as i dont like the iron look , but too wrinkly out of the wash.

      • Nothing too fancy or professional or something, hust for everyday use . I have the Philips steam and go, Philips 3000 series, and I have 2 “Heymix” portable ones and surprisingly the heymix iron/steamer is my fav one so far .

    • because the new one, you like better.

  • Cheers. For some reason $10 promo credit applied i was not aware of

    • Any idea what you did to trigger this?

      • I would guess a previous purchase that qualified for $10 promo credit on the next eligible purchase.

Can these be used for curtains well?

    • -3

      Why couldn't they?

    • +1

The cord is a little short and you'd need to mvoe the whole stand around, but it'd work if you get an extension cable and dont mind picking it up a lot (or put some castor wheels on it)

      • Woopppsss. Sorry
        Gotcha

Can I use for cleaning dishes

Anyone know which is better? Just purchased the Tefal Pro Style One last week. Haven’t opened yet:

    • +2

      Tefal is

1700 W of power and a continuous steam output of up to 30 g/min

      Philips is

      1800W, 35 g/min Continuous Steam

    • +1

Get the Philips, it has a plate, which helps a lot when you need to fight some creases.

      • i bought the Sunbeam ProSteam Sonic Steam Iron with 180g/min High Pressure Steam Shot, Ceramic Soleplate With High Scratch Resistance, 300mL Tank, 2400W, Safety Auto Off, Lightweight, Black & Bronze SRC4700ast time it was sale at Amazon.

180g/min is much more than the 35g/min - Sunbeam helps as it has 2400W

        • +1

          Thats an iron

          Deal is a steam station

        • +1

that's not a steamer, and 180g/min is a steam shot for a second, it isn't shooting that nonstop or else you are needing to hook that up to your sink to supply the water. lol

    • i got the Tefal Pro Style One from last week also. its ok. it isn't the worst but gets the job done. i was expecting more powerful steam, but its cheaper then the others.

  • What about the $55 cheapie Kmart Anko Garment steamer GS60-DJ

  • +1

I had this one. The base started leaking water after some light use.

    • -1

Thanks OP! Got one to steam work shirts, hopefully it works …

    • -2

The Philips or the Kmart Anko?

  • Waste of money, get a proper iron and a random wife

    • +2

wife costs more and no warranty.

  • I've got this. It does a pretty good job.

My only complaint is that I wish the backing was a little longer/taller

I just get my mummy to iron my clothes.

I have this for about 2 years, it's light weight and very handy, but beware, all the pipes and electrical wires are in 1 place under the unit, and it will leak water over times in to the wire, mine got rusted and all the wire came apart, this is after warranty, it stopped working, so I disassembled the whole thing and found out

  • +1

dang it, i needed one. out of stock

  • It’s back in stock for whoever missed last time.
