This is I think the cheapest R1 mic version has been.

I've had the Brainwavz R1s for about 3 months and I've been using them everyday, they became my favorite. Very detailed sound. Really surprising soundstage at this price range. Comfy too, especially with the supplied comply foam tips.

The accessories that come with it:

    Lots of good reviews for these around the net. I wonder how they compare to the Sennheiser CX300II? Wouldn't mind a spare pair and the price is right for a backup set of earphones.
    Do you wear them over the ear?

      I don't own cx300ii so can't comment on that. Yes, these are made to be worn over the ear.

      The mic version's rrp is us$49.50. It went down to $33 in the past sale I think.

    Really starting to question the quality of Brainwavz headphones. Just noticed my set of M4's that aren't even 3 months old are falling apart, glad i didn't pay full price, I got these through the listing on here with free Fedex shipping in November, the set of Betas i bought in a previous deal suffered the same fate in an even shorter time.

    Never had this issue with any other brand of headphones, previously used Sennheiser, Vsonic and a whole bunch of cheapies with none of these issues.

    In saying this mp4nation where pretty good about the betas, will just glue these up and buy another brand next time i think.
