Milwaukee M18 Bluetooth Jobsite Speaker $159 Delivered @ Power Tool Specialists

190

Great deal on this Jobsite speaker and it sounds amazing too. I am never buying a speaker with integrated battery because when you need the battery replaced it will cost as much as the new speaker.

Every $100 spent on Milwaukee will give you +1 entry into the draw to win a Dirt Bike valued over $13k. I have added a charger for $50 to make it over $200 so I can get two entries into the draw. The $12 bit set is also a great deal if you are a short a few $'s to get to $100, I gave away so many of those bit sets as a Gift last Christmas and everyone loved it.

Just a tip for anyone considering it, the M18CCS55-0 circular saw has a major flaw. Where the main body of the saw attaches to the bottom plate, it has a lot of slop in the pins where it joins.

Doesn't matter how tight you do the adjustment knobs up, due to this, you will get at least 1-2mm deflection over the blades cutting depth.

Makes it near impossible to get a vertically square cut through anything thicker than a couple of millimetres.

At least in the one I had. Set it up, went to make a cut and felt it. Sold it without even doing a second cut. (was part of a kit so no financial loss).

On the other hand, the M12 circular saw I had was rock solid. Perhaps I was unlucky as most every other Milwaukee tool I have owned was pretty decent.

Thank you so much for the heads up. I am still on AEG with some tools so i don't have Milwaukee Circular Saw yet. I have been under the impression Milwaukee is superior so slowly replacing my AEG tools to go full Milwaukee. Definitely going to avoid the circ saw now. I am quite happy with my AEG limited edition black saw, seems like that's staying now.

Happy to help if I can. Might be worth going into a tool shop and checking one out for your self though, in case I got a dud.

When I was still working, I was full into the Milwaukee range, then swapped to Makita as I liked some of their tool better.

For the most part the Milwaukee tools were very good, but I did have a few fail. All replaced under warranty, but the wait times were unacceptable to me as a person using them for an income at the time, (7-8 weeks every time) so finally went all Makita and have yet not had any fail in the 8 yrs I have had them.

Not saying one brand is better than the other, but I do not regret my decision, other than the fact that the Makita CXT 12V line has become stagnant, whereas Milwaukee's M12 line just keeps on growing.

        • I don't have much expeerience with Makita but my mate who owns a farm is hardcore into Makita.

I haven't used Milwaukee long enough to say i have had any reliability issues yet (i hope it stays that way). I have had an AEG sander fail on me but bunnings replaced it under warranty which was pretty good. I have heard if you don't drive Milwaukee too hard, they are not too bad with reliability. I also got the new Hexon Jacket last week. Didn't get much of a deal other than the 2.0ah battery with the jacket and another free 3ah Battery via Redemption but the jacket is made very high quality. Usually i find brand merch is just overpriced garbage and you pay a premium to advertise their brand but i like Milwaukee Jacket is black jacket with black logo so it's pretty stealthy.

@miura: I think you should be ok with just about any brand these days. We were doing A/C installs so the tools got a lot of use, but not abused.

Funny you should mention Milwaukee clothing, as I am actually currently wearing a non heated Milwaukee bomber jacket that is about 10 yrs old:). It just won't wear out, lol.

Their heated clothing is absolutely awesome. Cannot recommend them highly enough. Have had 2 hoodies and a jacket in the past. All very durable, comfortable and more importantly, warm. So nice for the early winter starts here in tropical Canberra…………….
