Tech21 Evodusk MagSafe Case (Black) for iPhone 16/16 Pro/16 Pro Max $10 + Delivery ($0 C&C/ In-Store) @ JB Hi-Fi

400

I was after a case for my iPhone 16 pro, came across this on JB-Hifi. Had a $10 perks coupon so got it for free with click and collect.

I’m using it right now. Textured sides and the back so it is not slippery, very good fit.

By ‘not cheap’ do you mean ‘really cheap’?

Mind this is a brand name case with MagSafe and (some) protection

There are bunch of cases under $10 in Temu & Aliexpress & eBay.
This one must has better quality I guess?

        • Having bought plenty on eBay, Amazon and aliexpress over the years. This one is definitely worth the 10 bucks. The rrp of 60 is a joke but 10 you can’t do better.

Really, your benchmark is Temu and Aliexpress? I'll ignore eBay as you're probably looking at used crap.

free is cheaper, but you haven't posted a deal. so this is the cheap deal.

FYI, I’m about to return the one I bought. I really like it but the MagSafe is quite weak. If you don’t need that feature, it’s a bargain.

    • I normally put a magnet on the back of the case because i always find casees have very weak magsafe

      • +1

A lot of the time its just a magnetic sticker

      • I'm using a $7 case from Temu which has a strong magsafe FYI

    • buy the ones with an actual magsafe ring on the back

    • Can i ask in what use case you find the magnetic attachment weak? As in does it slide off on a desktop magsafe charger, or are you referring more to a sporting/mobile situation?

Essentially, in comparison to every other MagSafe compatible case I’ve tried, including those from family members. I use a MagSafe compatible charger at night and I got the feeling it wouldn’t be too hard to knock the phone off the charger if I was checking something at night. It just didn’t feel (Mag)safe.

  • No love for the iPhone16 Plus, just searched their website and nothing for $10 there.

Just pick up one for free today. The Magsafe is not that bad, tbh. Not as strong as the HaloLock from ESR but still not easily falling off. It has brushed metal finish at the back, with microfiber lining inside to prevent scratches. The only minus is the camera control button cutout. For $10 (or free if using the Perks coupon), this is actually pretty good case.

  • Exactly what I analysed, before buying it. Way better than any $10 case for the eBay or Amazon etc. I’m glad that you liked it too.
