Better than Amazon which is selling for $1528

    • +2

That is Fly More Combo Plus. The Fly More Combo is $1449.

    • +1

Plus puts it over 249g with the larger battery.

      • -4

Wrong. That’s misinformation!!! The weight stays the same. I have one

        • +2

          What battery do you have?

Provides an extended flight time for smooth, worry-free aerial creation. (The aircraft will weigh more than 249 g when using this battery.)

I saw that on the official website and thought that it mean the aircraft will weigh more than 249g. 🤷‍♂️

@Tim Mc: I measured 248.08 g with the standard battery and DJI Mini 4 Pro. Covers removed.

  • Good Price. i have been tracking this drone from last year. This is the lowest with 10% gift card so far. Thanks

    • expect it to get cheaper towards sept if Mini 5 Pro rumors are true.

      • +1

possibly but the mini 3 pro bacame pretty hard to find not long after the 4 pro came out

  • +4

    approx. $144.80 value

Why approx, wouldn't it be exactly $144.80?

    • +1

Well, its a Harvey Norman gift card. I'd say its worth closer to $100 😉

  • good price for this if anyones on the drone fence

  • Thanks Norman Ross

Only Downside with kogan is its pre sale. Dispach after 26 June. I need it before for TRS Claim. price matching with DJI Store with kogan $1302.

    • bugger, it's now back ordered

  • Wondering if I should hold out for DJI Mini 5.. (if it even comes out).

    • +1

      Why not 6 or 7?

    • to be honest i dont think you'd be missing any features if you got this. even the 3 pro was still a good drone (not easy or possible to find anymore). theres a chance the 5 could have some thing that truly takes it to a new class but i think thats unlikely

      • +2

the margin for drone technology improving is significant. especially for DJI refreshing their products every 2 years as opposed to yearly.
rumor of 1inch sensor, 50min+ flight, higher wind resistance tolerance is good enough reason for me to wait another few months for the 5

        • very good points. we will just have to wait and see

          • @perfectlydark: nonetheless the mini series have been outstanding products.
unlike other tech that gets redundant as new models are released, the mini's always offer something for everyone at different price points.

even a second hand mini 2 se is bang for buck if your ok without having 4k.

but yeah, cant be long until we see whats on offer for the next mini.
if its not worth it to me, id happily get a 2nd hand 4 pro. especially when DJI aftercare can be applied later in the products life

            • @samsta7866: true. the batteries are generally compatible between all models in the range right? i have the mini 3 flymore combo, if the 5 pro is a worthy upgrade id prefer to buy the standalone drone and keep using my controller/batteries

              • +1

                @perfectlydark: https://www.dji.com/au/products/comparison-consumer-drones
im always on this trying to decipher the key differences

i know 4pro and 3 can share intelligent batteries and intelligent battery plus.
but its not completely standardised. like the Avata 1 and 2 the batteries changed for the better. this is just the byproduct of continuous R&D to get to that final product..

i haven't heard much issues on the mini battery range so they might not really change as time goes on.

one update remains imo, for these batteries to have usbc direct charging. so you can charge them on the go more effectively. alot of battery products are now having integrated usbc ports within the battery. i think this could elevate DJI's drone products in future.

                • @samsta7866: legend thanks for the advice all up! definitely going to keep my eyes open. If the 5 pro has good active tracking I might look into it even if I have to buy another fly more combo. Would make for good riding shots where currently I need to manually set the drone in strategic locations (and I suck at that)

        • I have the 3 and need to upgrade (my 3 is having constant gimbal issues), so hoping they release the 5 this year if their release patterns stay constant. Don’t want to get the 4 if the 5 is around the corner.

Or like the other poster said (without thinking as to why one would wait), why not wait for the 6 or 7?

@ShMiCk: alot of leaks going around showing DJI testing the mini5 in public, check youtube

  • Mini 5 is around the corner….

  • still pricey hey. Last one i bought was the mini 1 flymore kit during covid for about $500

    • +2

Yes but there is a huge difference between the Mini 1 and the Mini 4 Pro, so many improvements that make the experience of flying a drone better.

Just price matched with Kogan's 10% discount using The Good Guys live chat. Got an immediate quote of $1302 and ordered click and collect.

    • Its not the same deal , i nearly made the same mistake

      • How?

        • Just messaged the Good Guys via live chat on their website, sent through screenshots, links, and the discount code for Kogan. They accepted the price match and sent through a payment invoice for $1302.

      • I bought the DJI Mini 4 Pro Fly More Bundle for $1302 from the Good Guys. Definitely is the same deal.
