Fairly niche deal - stock is running out so I can only see it available for SA. It's a good price for such a heavy duty 17kg/10kg combo - I'm personally looking for the 12/9 combo.

What did you end up getting or planning to get?
I'm also debating between the 12/9kg washtower vs 12/9kg stacked.
Pros:
Shorter - 50cm shorter than stacked, perfect for wife
No need to empty water compartment - directly drains
No installation costs - one unit so no stacking required, just plug and play
Good looking obviouslyCons:
If it breaks, you don't have a washer and dryer, compared to separate unitsMost LG heat pump dryers have the option of directly draining the water out to an outlet if one is available.
Also, LG sell a stacking kit in black and white colour which secures the dryer on top the of washer and also adds a tray to put something like a laundry basket on. It also makes it look a bit more like a single unit. Their website lists the compatible washer and dryer models.
Interesting product but I can't figure out exactly what problem it is trying to solve / advantage it has over separate appliances? If either drum could be used as a washer or dryer, now that would be something!
It's very very low-profile and fits nicely as an integrated appliance
I can;t work that out either. I'm a fan of my Bosch separate washer and dryer, stacked with a pull-out shelf in between.Seem to remember a bit of a faff getting both drainage hoses into the pipe on my laundry sink. But that's the only trouble they've given me. And the LEDs that shine in the drums is something that should have been standard years ago lol. They could swap it for an RGB LED, slap the word "gaming" in the model number, charge extra dollarbucks!
Aesthetics and the integrated control panel from what I can gather. Looks a bit sleeker with the units combined together. The integrated control panel makes it look nicer and better for shorter people to access the controls.
Don't people just hide these away anyway (like phones that pay close attention to the back, but everyone just sticks a case on it).

Was looking at this before but decided against it. Plenty of issues with this unit like stopping randomly, no heat, vibration, error codes, etc
