    Is there anything worth buying?

How about 100 AA Alkaline batteries for $29.99? Or AAA for $24.99 but you'll need to add another item.

      • You will need to add $5.01 or $10.01 to buy something you may not need.

      • +1

Showing up as $39.99 and $34.99 respectively now lol I guess Amazon don't like giving discounts on batteries.

last ordered in Jul 24 for $13.67
OMG it would be hard to order on normal price

From the look I had last time there was a Basics promo, a lot of the stuff looked like Kmart quality at 3 times the price

      • +2

it could be just from Kmart. I recently ordered one and received onepass parcel from Kmart.

    • I have a knife block set from them that's great, lives in our caravan so very used occasionally

      Probably same blades as these

      Shame it's 34.99

Their cables and cable adaptors are fine if you happen to need $35 worth of cables and adapters right now.

    • +2

the amazon basics speaker cable is very good. I honestly can't tell the difference between that and $500 Monster or whatever other 'branded' cables (and I'm not exactly running cheap speakers and amp either..)

  • Love their microfiber. Not the best out there, but good enough for TV, monitors and cars. Damn cheap too, wife loves them for kitchen.

Even with this promo, everything I’ve looked at is still massively overpriced.

so true, im trying to find the best deal to waste my money on, but can't find any good deals

  • Their bins are good, too notch

    • considering that the Amazon bins are quite expensive, how would you compare it to other brands, or relative to their price point?

      • I've had this 2x15L bin for three years, still going strong and loving it. Compared to IKEA and kmart bins I've had in the past, I would prefer the Amazon's for its quality and longevity. Love the soft close and how it feels when you step on the pedal. Give it a try and if you don't like it, you could always return it and get a full refund.

Thanks! Good for bagging up the other Amazon basics items I bought just to make up the minimum spend

  • Their pedal bins have amazing premium quality. I replaced our kitchen one from kmart and it’s night and day.

I replaced our kitchen one from kmart and it’s night and day.

      You don't say!

    • i'm really tempted, but the Amazon bins cost about 2.5x the kmart ones. hard to justify as an ozbargainer, but are they really that much better?

      • Yesss. Solid construction and the pedal will never fall off lol. That alone makes it worth it. It's an item you use multiple times a day and its a forever item so it's worth it.

  • Car mats and dog poop bags

  • Find something to buy we don't need to save ten dollars, ok.

A few items I purchased around $40 in the past week has increased in price by $10. A good example is the Chisel set I got for $39 3 days ago and now it's $49. Amazon doing a Kogan? Just be careful and check Camel Camel Camel for price history before buying.

  • Bought this for my gimbal https://amzn.asia/d/aLewKGC

  • I was able to get a tool bag and a resistance band for an ok price. Not a huge bargain though.
