Bro just gained +30 days of life for staying away

      • +3

Sunset Yellow FCF has contamination concerns from toxic impurities, which can enhance skin absorption and pose neurotoxicity and endocrine disruption risks.

Anything that makes my T lower is a hard NO

You should'nt be chewing vitamin C (Ascorbic acid) in the first place. Since its an acid, large doses and frequent consumption is bad for the enamel.

Woolies check stock thing rarely works for me. Any one else having same issues?

  • are they yummy

  • FYI you shouldn't use vitamin C in combination with vitamin E if you want to get any benefits from exercise

      More info:

Athletes should avoid vitamin E as supplementation may decrease or completely eliminate the beneficial physical adaptations (both muscle gain and fat loss) from exercise or resistance training.

A 10-week study including 33 young women (non-smoking, age 18-30, previously untrained) undergoing a strength training program found that combined vitamin E and vitamin C supplementation prevented beneficial adaptations to endurance and resistance exercise. Those taking placebo experienced increased muscle mass and a decrease in fat mass whilst the vitamin C + E group did not exhibit any benefits for muscle mass or fat mass.

Another study assessed the impact of vitamin E+C supplementation (1,000 mg vitamin C + 235 mg vitamin E per day) on VO2 Max, submaximal running score and a 20 m shuttle run test in recreationally-trained endurance athletes. It found that vitamin C and E supplementation stopped beneficial mitochondrial changes from occurring. This 11-week study was performed in 54 young men and women, who completed 3-4 sessions of HIIT per week. The training protocol consisted of running sprints alongside other cardiovascular exercise modalities including rowing and cycling.

A 12-wk study of elderly men found that vitamin E and C supplementation (1,000 mg vitamin C + 235 vitamin E daily) was worse than placebo for improving skeletal bone density. The participants followed a protocol of three strength training sessions per week, after which bone density was measured. The bone density in the lumbar region increased more in men given a placebo, and hip bone density only increased in the placebo group.

Thanks for sharing, will check this out

      • I've never heard of this.. Very interesting. Now I'm super paranoid wondering if im getting too much vitamin e

        • You're almost certainly fine - make sure it's not a synthetic form though. An easy way to tell is to check the label and see if it says dl-alpha - the dl- indicates a synthetic form. Why is this bad? Too long to post here but it disturbs the general equilibrium of vitamin e tocopherols and tocotrienols in the body which affects antioxidant function in cells.

  • Won’t ship to any address I enter.
